I flashed the phone using SP tools, but i want to clear cache and data so that it can boot. no luck up till now. i cant get into recovery because of the faulty power button.

Oh boy! I just love Gionee pw8 specs – though an entry level phone, but the specifications are someting to love for the price quote. The device that runs Amigo 3 on top of Android 6 marshallow opearting sytem – an upgraded version of Android lollipop.

The only thing that thicks me off is the low RAM, but I guess I can't complain when the price doesn't. Lol

This might be coming late but for the sake of others who might stumble on this. install a third party video player such as MXplayer or vlc player. That you are encountering could simply mean that the video player you were trying to use does not support that particular video formar. This problem is common to most android default media players
