Is it not funny that a member of FEC when GEJ was in government, Samuel Orthom is now an APC Governor of Benue state? Is Orthom incorruptible?

What about Kawu Baraje, a Chairman of Nigeria Railway Corporation in most part of GEJ era that led nPDP to APC? Is he absolved?

What about the light rail fraud of Fashola and Amaechi in Lagos and Rivers respectively? Are they clean?

On the subject, the investigators/prosecutors should do their work and go to court BUT APC shouldn't seek to score cheap point with this. Beside, the Transport minister under GEJ and NRA are to respond.

If there is any fraud, it was perpetrated by APC Chieftains Samuel Orthom(Member of FEC under GEJ) and Kawu Baraje(NRC Chairman under GEJ), as well as some PDP members and former members including Bamangar Tukur
Effectively absolving the head. U r stewpid, Tonye. Truth is far from u

forget about the politics and tell us how that helps nija. In case you don't notice the number of online members patronising the news here has come down due to hardship and NEPA. We don't need to know that it was a PDP person that checked the stuff. Beside both PDP and APC have contained both members.... Wolves in sheep clothings

The problem with you guys is viewing every issue with partisan politics. Instead of condemning wrongdoing, you look for reasons and excuses to do otherwise. With such mentality, the future CANNOT belong to the youths.

You could be right , I even wonder the kind of upbringing of our youth .

We have known to be currupt but once are good light ray I strong believe will embrace it .

If I were now Jonathan will go to jail .

Sir, God knows that I have never defended corruption nor defend anyone based on tribal affiliation.

What I am saying is that we hold people responsible for their action without stereotyping their group like what oga Passingshot tried to do. I only pointed that he will be indicting APC if he follows that line of thought.

We saw the rail fraud of Amaechi and Fashola but no one is talking about it. Why then should we stereotype PDP when the aCcusation was on individuals that cut across party line?

Nigeria belongs to all of us and our treasury must be defended by all irrespective of partisan leaning.

Bro am not and have never been to rivers b but lagos! Which light rail scam? You think rail is beans?! Work . Ongoing and I have seen with my eyes rail stations n bridges being constructed on mile 2 axis and around that national theatre side o.
It's world Bank assisted project which APC is continuing to finish, wike of rivers can either choose to finish amaechi work or play politics with it, but here in lagos by next year we should b boarding trains.

If tolls will ensure our roads r smooth why not embrace it? Look @ the lekki -epe road and find pothole or the lekki -ikoyi link bridge , watch how our highways will change once tolls are introduced.

Pls fash like tinubu is. A visionary and my prayer is ambode also outdoing fash. Keep your criticisms of fash to yourself.

I don't get the political aguements over here. Are you guys so partisan to ignore the fact that our leaders are so dumb as to award a $12B contract to a Chinese company?

Has China ever award a $1M contract to a Nigerian company?

Yet, u wonder why we have a dwindling foreign reserve.

The moment we stop this stupid tribalistic fighting within ourselves and start working together as one, the better for us all.

Na today you understand our tribal bigotry?

Why should a contract of such amount be given to a company owned by a yoruba man or Igbo man or Hausa man or... a Nigerian?
it's better given to Chinese man. grin

Very funny...

In one sentence you are saying tha Wike should act, in another sentence you are admiting that Amaechi has gone to court to set aside the report.

Pray tell, can a sane government work on any report when the case is in court? How do you expect Wike to prosecute Amaechi when there is already a court case by Amaechi to set aside the probe panel report and government white paper on it? Abi you no know say the reason the Senate Committee couldn't deliberate on the report was because Amaechi informed them that the matter is already in court?

Guy I don't think you understand judicial process. Zombie-ism is not a pride!

Na who de drag "might" with you? I don't have time for such rubbish....
My bro, do not in desperation to score points resort to bending facts and makin misleading representation! U of all pple knw tooooooo well that Ameachie's effort, through the judiciary,to stop the panel from probing him were all not successful! So look for sometin else to say, plss.

Yea bro I understand (fully) your skepticism but remember during obj's era we didn't have, twitter, facebook etc, didn't really have channels to convey criticisms and displeasure and above all it was still the PDP days!

Yea APC. Are not saints, but with the dwindling oil revenue they need to find ways to deliver on their promises and trust me...the reintroduction of tolls on highways WILL NOT really affect cost of travelling thank God we have a saturated market (of transport coys). Competitive prices will ensure others can't just hike up fares.

Also it will help check mate movement of stolen vehicles, movement of suspicious cargo, child trafficking, kidnap etc. (as FRSC,NPF, NSCDC etc wil be stationed at each toll)

Truth is I want smooth roads, do you? If yes then give these guys a chance...if we don't get the smooth roads we paying for then we have every right to protest and vote em out. It's 2016! Good roads shouldn't be what we still craving for since 1999! Haba

Also for those unwilling to use the tolls in lag alternate routes were created which bypasses the tolls so it's a well thought of system.

The FEC is part and parcel of the constitution, and Buhari hasn't 'erased' it. Buhari only rescheduled the weekly FEC meetings to bi-weekly meetings.
