forget about the politics and tell us how that helps nija. In case you don't notice the number of online members patronising the news here has come down due to hardship and NEPA. We don't need to know that it was a PDP person that checked the stuff. Beside both PDP and APC have contained both members.... Wolves in sheep clothings |

TonyeBarcanista: Bro am not and have never been to rivers b but lagos! Which light rail scam? You think rail is beans?! Work . Ongoing and I have seen with my eyes rail stations n bridges being constructed on mile 2 axis and around that national theatre side o. It's world Bank assisted project which APC is continuing to finish, wike of rivers can either choose to finish amaechi work or play politics with it, but here in lagos by next year we should b boarding trains. If tolls will ensure our roads r smooth why not embrace it? Look @ the lekki -epe road and find pothole or the lekki -ikoyi link bridge , watch how our highways will change once tolls are introduced. Pls fash like tinubu is. A visionary and my prayer is ambode also outdoing fash. Keep your criticisms of fash to yourself. 4 Likes |

DanjaNinja: Na today you understand our tribal bigotry? Why should a contract of such amount be given to a company owned by a yoruba man or Igbo man or Hausa man or... a Nigerian? it's better given to Chinese man. |

masseratti: Yea bro I understand (fully) your skepticism but remember during obj's era we didn't have, twitter, facebook etc, didn't really have channels to convey criticisms and displeasure and above all it was still the PDP days! Yea APC. Are not saints, but with the dwindling oil revenue they need to find ways to deliver on their promises and trust me...the reintroduction of tolls on highways WILL NOT really affect cost of travelling thank God we have a saturated market (of transport coys). Competitive prices will ensure others can't just hike up fares. Also it will help check mate movement of stolen vehicles, movement of suspicious cargo, child trafficking, kidnap etc. (as FRSC,NPF, NSCDC etc wil be stationed at each toll) Truth is I want smooth roads, do you? If yes then give these guys a chance...if we don't get the smooth roads we paying for then we have every right to protest and vote em out. It's 2016! Good roads shouldn't be what we still craving for since 1999! Haba Also for those unwilling to use the tolls in lag alternate routes were created which bypasses the tolls so it's a well thought of system. |
