Sammyashol: Am Yoruba too, all this jobless youth collection "Owoile" (land money) for doing nothing is annoying sometimes. All Nigeria youth are marginalized by the government, be you Hausa, Ibo or Yoruba, we now turn the annoyance to ourselves. 7 Likes |

Only God can save us from tribalistic fools that make up the majority of our present day youths. Imagine lives being lost and properties being destroyed and some people are busy rejoicing that it's a particular ethnic group that is fighting another ethnic group. I am a full blooded Igbo and this is NOT part of what we are known for. We are hospitable people and do not encourage shedding of blood in any form. Be it Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba, we are all Nigerians and our blood is SACRED. 18 Likes 1 Share |

The fight which lasted till about 10:00pm on Tuesday continued on Wednesday with Hausas and Yorubas barricading the new Agiliti road beside Mile 12 market.According to report we gathered that the two tribes took both end of the road while they were separated by the barricades and Policemen who were in the middle. The violence lingered till Thursday (today) with many residents staying indoor. Many schools and shops in the area have been closed down. A resident who craved anonymity said; ”there is no peace in the area now, everyone is afraid.A source told us that Yorubas burnt motorcycles belonging to the Hausas along Agiliti road in Mile 12, although it not clear what prompted the action.Hausas reportedly retaliated, causing widespread pandemonium in the area.It was further gathered that a house has been burntby the fighters, vehicles were also vandalised.Residents said about 10 people were killed in the clash.A resident who identified himself as Nnamdi, said the whole place is not in order, disclosing that it has been like that in the last three days.According to him, Soldiers and policemen are currently have taken over the area to restore peace. It was gathered that there is relative peace in the Mile 12 market but many traders and shoppers are just vigilant. They feared that there may be violenceany moment.“Although, Mile 12 is peaceful but Agiliti is a no-go area, there is thick smoke erupting from the area asviewed from the new Mile 12 pedestrian bridge”, Nnamdi said. 2 Likes |

Emmahunk:And you were not here when these same people on nairaland were egging the Nigerian military on in slaughtering innocent protesters in igboland, asking for their human rights. I can show you threads where many of them have asked for the annihilation of the igbo ethnic group, with many of these people insulting amnesty international when they manage to speak up. Well,Violence has a way of coming back full cycle. And Nigeria is a country of savages. I have learnt to expect anything and not be surprised. 16 Likes |

PROVACATEUR:No that's not what i mean, i heard d clash started on Tuesday after a Hausa okadarider knocked down a woman. He was told to take the woman to the hospital, but the rider and his colleagues refused insisting that the motorbike association, which collects tolls from them, should take care of the woman. And d heated argument led to a fight. The fighting continued all through yesterday till today when some thugs, believed to be of Yoruba origin, invaded the market and started attacking the Hausas. That's how it turn to ethnicity fight. I pray they find peace sha. And buhari attacking us ...mehn am 1 million percent sure he can't, if he prove to be stubborn then i bid him farewell to eternity cos obasanjo, tinubu and the likes won't let him. Thanks for reading thru. 1 Like |
