Abeg foreign investment is crap! U think foreigners come wt d ultimate motive of improving ur economy? Ask urselves, hw many local businesses have dis company helped 2 grow by doing business in 9ja? Hw many of their raw materials r sourced locally? Yes deres loss of tax & jobs held by locals bt d silver lining is dt dere is nw an opening 4 local businesses dealing in d same commodity 2 expand. 1 Like |

And while you are at it please 1. tell us if you will keep your money in a bank that all your friends and even enemies tells you might be closing down soon . 2 If you will keep your money there please give us good, reasons that make sense 3. If the bank eventually crashes and you lose all your money, please tell us how you will explain this to your wife and children.[/size] |

They should leave, we need real investors to engage in proper production and not marketers of finished products from other countries. |

emonkey:whatever you have put upthere does not correspond with the argument. The fact that it's a different country does not in anyway make it foreign investment. Now, HP is an American brand but manufactures some of its computer systems in China with china's resources and then exports to other countries generating forex and strengthening china's currency... that's foreign investment. What this company leaving Nigeria does is simply retail. We need to get this clear. When likes of lifemate furnitures leave , some will say we have lost foreign investment but tell me, how many of our own made resources are being used in the production of those furnitures. 6 Likes |

Zobo drink and kunu dey there. Who cares. Make dem commit for indigenous company to take over the market. Nigerians are are determined to hang in to sacrifice to build our economy as Japan & China did. pmb no retreat no surrender. |
