wisest10:With all you operation amadioha ordinary herdsmen pillage your farms, bleep your girls and women and make suya meats out of your men and all you do here is make mouth. Thanks but no thanks. Channel your support towards preventing the fulanis from raiding your villages, it's not needed here in Lagos. 2 Likes |

Hopelessness. Despondency. Massive and increasing unemployment. Massive layoffs. Hunger. These will ignite any violence within seconds. Buhari and APC are testing the limits of Nigerians resilience. They don't have any idea that the RESILIENCE is as a result of people doing something (working in one form or another), no matter how unrewarding the enterprises are, hoping that things get better. Now, a very large percentage of Nigerians are increasingly becoming hopeless, there's nothing they are doing. There's nothing in sight in the near future. There's nothing in the horizon. Hopes have been stretched to the very limit. People who were employed last year have been laid off, in thousands. More are on the line to be laid off. These artisans taking laws in their hands were employed/patronized one way or another by those being laid-off - as barbers, drawers of water, cab operators, dry cleaners etc. Buhari and APC are playing with fire (literally). If this could happen in the most liberal and cosmopolitan state in Nigeria, among the two 'cooperating' ethnic groups, it's only a matter of time that the whole Nigeria is engulfed in a total conflagration. Mr. Buhari should be advised to resign before Nigeria is burnt to ashes. 4 Likes |

iSlayer:See, it would have been a different story if the Police and Soldiers did not support and encourage the northerners. Yorubas are not cowards and weaklings especially in their own territory. The Yorubas were clearly helpless and already at a disadvantage because the law enforcement agents were helping the other side. |

It is not the yorubas fault nor is it Igbos. Obasanjo and Jonathan failed to unify and strengthen the South to be at par with the North. Obasanjo tried it subtly but still openly supported the north who put him in power. Jonathan empowered only the Igbos and Ijaws mostly, and dumbly feared the north, thus dividing the south further. The only way forward for the southerners is to sought their differences, respect each other, throw away divisive leaders like Tinubu, Kanu etc. **** 3 Likes 1 Share |

luvmijeje: This is why I try my best to avoid stereotypes. I would rather curse the entire black race and myself for allowing the Caucasians make a mess of us for over 400yrs and counting. Nigeria at best can only survive as confederating unit of autonomous regions. That is the only shot at peace, progress and chance to appreciate the beauty of our cultural diversity. But Britain together with our selfish elites would rather every living thing in Nigeria die than see it happen. |
