For centuries and many decades of years (even on nairaland), there have been debate between atheist and theist over the existence of gods (i.e needing provable, practical and tested proves) which have not convined many more athiest. Of course almost all athiest see those proves given by the thiest as flamsy, nonrational and absurd evidance contrary to common sense and logic.


So now, what amount of evidence can/woulds convince you of ?

1. god or creator's existence
2. Existence of religious gods (eg Abrahamic gods, brahma, zeus etc), and will you summit to such gods if they're real?

(so that we can see if your request can be granted in the house).

Atheists can't disprove God. Check out most of them, when asked of their proofs of no God, they ask for the proofs of God to disprove.

A being with clear supernatural powers must visit me directly and prove that he can break the laws of physics (such as making time stop or creating a live animal from nothing). I would also need a fellow atheist friend with me who witnesses the same thing so that I know I'm not hallucinating.

That would make me a believer. Don't give me a book and say these things already happened according to this book.

And if this supernatural being happens to be one of those gods painted by religion( e.g yahwe, allah, etc. Would you summit to him?

Absolutely, if that is required, but if he is a god then I don't see why he would need me to submit.

well the fact that there are many versions of gods goes to show that none of them have left a remarkable evidence to prove to all he/she is the one true god

Even if I don't see god appear to me in person as evidence for his existence, the following should make me have a rethink:

The day I see all the catholics align/agree with the penticostal

All Jews agrees with the yahweh christians

All yahweh christians agrees with the muslims

All muslims aligns with the Jews

All Jews in Isreal love all the palestine muslims

All saudi Arabia muslim doctrine agrees with that of Iran Muslim doctrine.

more and more, I could keep going.........

But the day conflicts among the aforementioned are resolved, that day I would quit being Atheist and sign up with one, until then, f uck your God, Jesus,Faith,pope and Religion. Atheism till my vital signs beep flat line.

i can't convert you, the Holy Spirit does that. Btw, you don't want to be converted. Also, no true christian do blind faith either. And to your question God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

you said how he is... And i gave you how from a wonderful book, what do you mean by evidence. In judges 1:19, they weren't able to take the valley, because they were scared.

You only gave quotes and did not give examples of how happened. If your god is that powerful,why need humans to worship it? Where is your god today? You don't know anything about your god at all.
