snatching, rice sharing for campaigns, do-or-die

It took 16 years for all that to happen but it took APC less than a year to mess everything up

If you want to judge government based on inflation though your post are full of exaggerations, I put it to you that you just gave. PDP a grade A rating.


PDP met minimum wage at N1,200 and left at 18,000 which is how many percentage increase. Do the maths and see how senseless most of the comparisons and points are.

Exchange rate goes from N20 to N200 (a 1000% inflation increase) when bench mark oil price for budget was always below selling price, you call it "happened" and it goes from N200 to N300(a 50% inflation increase ) you call it "mess everything up". Papa Decieving Pikin as usual. Keep it up.

You used a minimum that was enforced less than 15% of the work force to justify the fact even PDP had to borrow to pay the N18,000 minimum wage. Even at that they couldn't meet up with payment, you just scored PDP 0% unknowingly.

If for all the depth PDP left it could only leave us bloated recurrent expenditure, then that's akin to a father who borrows in order to increase his children's pocket money, upgrade dstv & pay dstv bills etc and then as he is about to die in sick bed, leaving behind the debt repayment to the children ,thinking he died a responsible father who provided for his family.
That will amount to a Papa Decieving Pikin.

Not derailing from the topic and the debate. Comparison of Pre PDP, PDP and post PDP should be looked into critically not myopically.
Fuel was #11 per liter, you don't recharge your phone, no dstv subscription, Nepa Bill less than #5 per month, lagos to ibadan was less than #100, few private schools and most public schools are free plus free books and minimum was #750 per month then compare to fuel at #97 per liter, recharges everything rechargeable and subscribing to everything, Nepa Bill close to #5k per month, lagos to ibadan above #1k, few public school and many private school with exorbitant prices, and finally minimum wage is #18k.
Ask yourselves this? Pre PDP things were cheap and people were not contented during PDP things were expensive but because of leakages people were able to afford it now post PDP status cope has not changed but the leakages were blocked then there are wailing from every angles and corners. Both Anti PDP and Pro PDP are now Wailing Wailer.

OP, first of all, this government is in her 10th month, not 8 months as you tried to mis-inform us. I am not interested in discussing all the balderdash you listed above, but let us take just a few:

Economy/Exchange rate:
The exchange rate in 1999 was N21.89 (official) and N89 (Parallel Market). In 16 years, the Naira depreciated from N89.00 to N200, that is 125% rise in 16 year. The average rise per year therefore is 7.8%. Under APC government, the rate depreciated from N200 to N400, that 100% rise in 9 months.
Above should help you answer your points #1- 5.

Security & Ethnic Conflicts:
Perhaps you were too young to understand that the following issues have remained contentious even befre PD came to power in 1999"

- OPC as you rightly opined were inherited

- MASSOB and other Biafra agitation groups have remained a Nigerian problem since the 1966 anti-Igbo pogrom, a series of massacres directed at Igbo and other people of southern Nigerian origin living in northern Nigeria starting in May 1966. The latter culminated to the 30 months civil war. The main issues have remained largely unresolved. Thus. the names may metamorphosed from Biafra to MASSOB, to IPOB, they are agitating for the same thing and it predates PDP

- Niger Delta militancy: Just like MASSOB, I am not sure if you ever heard of Major Isaac Adaka Boro. He was an undergraduate student of chemistry and student union president at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he left school to lead an armed protest against the exploitation of oil and gas resources in the Niger Delta areas which benefited mainly the federal government of Nigeria. Also, I am not sure if you have heard about Ken Saro Wiwa. well, Google is your friend. The militancy only assumed higher proportion under a civilian dispensation

Boko Haram: Again you have very limited knowledge of history or poor at that. I will be brief on this. "Religious violence in Nigeria refers to Christian-Muslim strife in modern Nigeria, which can be traced back to 1953. Today, religious violence is dominated by the Boko Haram insurgency, which aims to impose Sharia on the northern parts of the country" - Wikipedia. Since 1953, Nigeria has grappled with issues of Religious radicalism, especially from the North. The present Boko Haram was encouraged by the introduction of Sharia by largely APP/ANPP/CPC government (around 2000), who are today APC president, governors, ministers, senators, etc who thought to destroy Obasanjo's government with the Sharia issue. I hope this settles point #6 on your "inconclusive write-up"

Free & fair elections:
Talking about INCONCLUSIVENESS, APC government have the record of not being able to manage a single Local government election (Southern Ijaw case). Kogi was inconclusive, Bayelsa was inconclusive, even Benue South was headed for inconclusiveness if not for the smart move by INEC. Have you not seen that the PDP under Jonathan did a good job with the 2015 general elections? If you do not know, the outside world knows. The Commonwealth have since appointed him their chief elections observer to usher in best in class elections. It is on record that the PDP was the only party to have conducted Civilian to Civilian election in Nigeria. Again the only party to have conducted an election where the incumbent civilian president handed over successfully to an opposition without court processes. We are waiting to see how APC will perform soon. In all their elections, the tribunals must adjudicate upto supreme court. That is the sign of "sore losers".

So, my friend you can see that APC have stepped into a very big foot-print left by PDP. Now they are struggling
