Do you know that thread is so powerful that it can make you an atheist - that's if you have a misconception of who God is though . GOD ... EVERYTHING ( a conscious creator and what makes Him supreme ) . Everything is part of Him - He is EVERYWHERE .

Wrong. We have the capability to reason out our morality. Our human morality is not perfect- we had to learn the hard way but with enlightenment and humanism, there is a secular network of morality that works to the benefit of all humans. If only all humans used logic instead of faith.


Saying that God built in our morality is not going to help your theistic arguments- it makes your God very fallible. The reason is that our basic morality as humans is animalistic- we are animals and our base priority is selfish- eat or be eaten.

Just take a look at our default status- as babies we come prepackaged with a selfish instinct- we cry when we need food, cuddling or cleaning after shitting ourselves.

Our base morality is survival of the fittest. Our ancestors killed animals and other people that got in their way of eating.


It is when we stop and reason that we can fathom out more complex ethical decisions.

-why shouldnt we kill the other tribe?
-should we accept homosexuals?
-what is our purpose on earth to other people/animals?


To say God built in our moral instincts is to present God as a creator who couldnt prepackage us with logic as soon as we are born- we have to be animalistic till an age of reasoning (about 8-10 years). Children cant understand a lot of morality- we have to teach them
