It was an eventful Sunday for moi.

UFC 196 was bitter sweet.
- On one part, I felt bad for Holly Holm - she was unable to successfully negotiate a a bantamweight title defence as veteran, Meisha Tate shockingly snatched the title from her in the 5th and final round.
- Then, I was ecstatic when Diaz crushed the brash talking McCregor in a non-title weltherweight bout via a 2nd round submission move - a rear naked chokehold.

All in all, UFC 196 lived up to billing, no dull moment at all.smiley

Thanks, I thought I understand how it works but I guess not...although I genuinely thought the season was over(remember reading that they had started filming season 2 some time back, unless I'm mixing things up?)

I've no idea if they've started filming season 2, I know it got renewed in November & it received an extended season order of 23 episodes. I won't be surprised if they've just wrapped up the production of season 1. Usually, during the first production cycle, they do the first order of episodes, usually 13 episodes (sometimes 10 episodes), then during the period, while the first production of episodes is being aired, they're waiting for the order for the "back 9" episodes to get the full season order - 22 total episodes (sometimes 18 episodes). They don't film all the episodes in one go, that's why we have the hiatus, that's when they're usually filming the second half.

funny enough,I'm just seeing some similarities in scandal and real life...bill Clinton having a mistress,fitz grant having a mistress also,Hilary Clinton staying by during d scandal cos she had her eyes on d oval office,mellie grant doing so by using d scandal to propel her to d oval office....

To Be sincere the Series has lost some steam, I had high hopes for the movie it just turns out to be another Cop drama series. Who Needs Another Cop drama investigative series we have series like Limitless(nzt) and Scorpion just to mention a few already on such series. The Producers are just too Lazy IMO.

Fair enough, the police procedural genre is very saturated, even the weirdo/gifted/crazy/annoying person (AKA consultant, asset etc) partnered with the typical police officer/detective is also saturated.
