First welcome to the Preggy thread. Have a fruitful and stressfree pregnancy.
Second, if you have not been using AN drugs, I hope you have been eating right. Not just healthy but right. You need your AN drugs if you have a poor appetite or if eating right might be too expensive. Do it for your child. You can try pregnacare in eba or sth solid like that at night. I heard its less ewwwish like that.
@ all, do you know that if you eat right and still use your drugs, all the drugs get flushed out cos your body cos the body has no way of storing minerals and vitamins.
Thirdly, the reason you are gulping so much soda is because your body needs quick energy that the soda provides and the chill too. It is not healthy. And because of that metallic taste in your mouth.....
You need to find another sugar source.
You need to eat healthy carbs...oats, fortified cereals, wheat and rice more. They will make sure u dont get tired easily cos they will slowly provide you with sugar and not a quick fix.
If and when u need a quick fix, grab an apple, a sweet carrot or a banana. You can always have them in your bag. Cookies can do the trick too.
The buttered yummy kind not the #10 own filled with sugar and oil.
If you need to have a chilled drink, opt for malt. It has some vitamins in it at least.
Or you can try chilled milk. I had this really cute flask that I used to make powdered milk + sugar + water + ice cubes. I will just be sipping all day long. When it got spoilt, I got this huge coffee cup with a sippy lid. People use to think I was sipping hot tea....in it was always chilled milk.

You need to stop guzzling that much sugar. If you have gestational diabetes, your baby may end up being overweight...I am not talking the 4.5 kg kind, I am talking about the 6.5 kg kind!
Just like every gestational related illness, there is a slight chance that it wont go away even after you have given birth.

Good evening to all mamas in the house, with great joy, happiness and grateful heart to God I am glad to say after 4 years and for the time time in my 32 years on earth I finally got my BFP today. Uhmmmmmm it was such a long and tiring journey but I give all praise and honor God. I did hysterocopy in August 2014 and iui last year February but it failed, one mama on iui/ivrcthread gave information about one hospital she used in india I contacted them in November, did all the required tests and was set to go to lagos for visa when suddenly my husband said he wasn't interested again, I was devastated I stopped taking all medications even folic acid, started eating all the things I stopped eating cos of ttc in short I was depressed. It even affected my love life with my husband, fast forward to February 14 this year my husband surprised me by taking out to spend the night in one of the biggest hotel in town apologised for cancelling the india trip which was suppose to be in February and informed me that he had made appointment with our doctor for another iui in April, we made up and had a nice time. My sisters the result of which came out to be BFP today. I just want to encourage all that God is still there, He listen to prayers and make things beautiful at his own right time, even though Satan makes our problem look so big we forget to thank God for other things that count. Jehovah God that remembered me even when I thought he has forgotten about me will remember and show mercy to all mamas in the house. So according to an online calculator another #teamnovember here . Pls o mama what is the next thing to do now, can I resume my folic acid now or pregnnacare? I be JJC o

Went to market yesterday finally, bought only half of my list. Things are soo expensive abi, they cheat me. Dunno which one.dose baby sleep suit. 3500 per pack of 3. And my list said 10 short 10 long. Bought only 2 pack ejoor o!. And to tink I caRry my belle reach lagos island. Yet tinz are still so pricey.
Will go back for the remaining tings. Abeg who else is shopping this dollar season? Is it same price? Abi dose women don open shop for my head??

Make una he'll me thank God! On my way back from market. Na so one mad danfo drive jus rammed into me. Driver side and I was driving. Thank God nothing hapen to me o and my baby. Were you taking vitex before your bfp or you started taking vitex after bfp?
You are NOT meant to take vitex during pregnancy... Please confirm by reading the instructions on the bottle of the drugs.
But wait, vitex is not for cough and cattarh nah? You just gave me serious brain freeze. Abeg report to your doctor immediately!

It is generally advised to consult your doctor before ingesting drugs of any form cos we don't know what they would do to the LO.

Phew! Ok. But vitex isnt good (I don't want to use the word safe so you don't get scared) for pregnancy....pls stop it. You should be on prenatals (folic acid and all). The cough and cattarrh may just be one of your pregnancy symptoms..i still occasionally have blocked sinuses as part of my package... But still consult with your doc on guidance.

Congrats dear. Did your doctor prescribe those drug for you? I thought omega 369 is supposed to caused uterine contractions? Then why lime? Haaaa, am confused here, do you want to flush the pregnancy?

If your dr don't prescribe it kindly enquire from him before use ok.for now folic acid is your best bet.

For your cough and catarrh take vitamin C more.
