Go back and read again. They aren't subsidiaries. They are new units. The NNPC have been unbundled. These new units are run by CEOs and not just Managers. They are going to operate independently. Read up on the NNPC act of 2004. Clearly states the Corporation or Presidency has the right to create new subsidiaries, merge or modify existing ones unilaterally .

I definitely disagree with you on this one. First question you have to ask is how long has the PIB been before the Senate? The answer is 10 years!!!! It is pretty obvious that the senators are NOT interested in passing the PIB in any form.
For goodness sake have you ever heard of a bill that took 10 years to pass?
Since the senators are CLEARLY UNWILLING to do anything about the NNPC, Buhari has simply sidestepped them AND HE HAS MY FULL SUPPORT!!
As to legality or illegality of his actions, that would be up to the lawyers to decide. Nigeria DESPERATELY[/b]needs a leader with [b]AN IRON FIST because as we say in pidgin english "We no dey hear word"
