redmi note 3 is 65k, note 3 pro is 76k and letv is 59k...

I own a remi note 3 and u can update it recieve updates, but for marshmallow 6.0 am not sure. But no dulling this is android os what are custo roms for. Geting my boorloader unlock soon

2. No calcare support what so ever in Nigeria.. No parts in Nigeria.

Well it depends on what you want.

1. Snapdragon variant according to people out perform MTK variant. Snapdragon variant also has 4040mAh battery, 16mp camera against the 4000mAp battery, 13mp camera on the MTK variant.

2. The Snapdragon variant also has a highbrid Memory card support (i.e it uses SIM 2 slot for memory expansion up to 128GB) while the MTK variant has no external memory support at all.

3. The Snapdragon variant also has what they call direct sunlight display

But despite all these extras on the Snapdragon variant, I still prefer the MTK variant because of his data cost on non MTK Chipset phones

Yeah I love MTK cos of tweaking.... I've used Snapdragon HTC One M7 dual SIM and it wasn't enjoyable at all. After buying the phone and iPhone 5s the same day, I still have to go buy Gionee M2 the next week after several attempts to tweak the HTC and failed.

I've given up on any non MTK Chipset device except Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet series and iPhones.
No matter the mouth watering spec of the phone if not MTK am not buying till our data rate is reduced to normal.

No, I realized that the bootloader is locked and I understand it sometimes takes xiaomi up to 3 weeks to reply unlock requests

the cost price of the snapdragon variant shouldnt be more than $229 i guess
and one more thing is that, according to my findings, redmi note 3 expandable memory space has a limit of 32gb... i'm seeing this as a huge constraint coz i have 64gb memory card already.
