I only assumed NZ would be easier. I was considering Australia too both I was distracted(misled) by an article I read. I haven't made up my mind hence my decision to ask the house. Thanks for the suggestion. So what do I require and how do I even begin? I really appreciate the assistance. TempusQ: |

Hello house, I was wondering if anyone knows if AITSL grants positive assesment to Nigerian BEd teachers.I have thoroughly read and understand the requirements on their website, but would like to know if they view Nigerian Bed as equivalent to theirs in Australia, any one( or if you know anyone ) with previous experience please? Thanks 1 Like 1 Share |

kayswag726: Hi Kaysway, i don't think anyone will intentionally not response to your enquires. Probably peeps dont know what to say. Here is a DIY forum, you will read up and ask questions. But for the little i know(am still learning) am not sure you can get your PR that way. i suggest you finish your degree course (at lest 4yrs or 5yrs) before you venture into changing your degree at postgraduate level. |

I must be frank with you, if you haven't made up your mind on Australia yet. You might also get distracted again when you only want to know the periphery of the process. The truth of the matter is, the process is quite straight forward once you can follow them with the intention of getting your PR, not just knowing them. Check these links to know more about your assessing body and their processes. https://www.aim.com.au/migration http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Latestproducts/4D4E2F0CB2E06DD9CA257B950013103D?opendocument Alternatively, check @Jorgan's post above to see if you can get the necessary guidelines you need for NZ, through his contact. If your mind is still on NZ. akeenade: 1 Like |

kayswag726:The truth is, there's no cheap school in Australia, those that are said to be cheap ain't that cheap there's just a slight variation in fees from others. You can get your PR while studying if & only if you meet the requirements for PR by following due process, no magic in that. As a international student, you luckily get your PR while studying, you will still have to pay your subsequent school fees as a international student because you get your admission prior to PR, you will only enjoy the benefits of a PR holder when you apply for a new program after getting your PR. PR is not by the number of years in Australia but by having the require points and following due process. 6 Likes |

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by NNBB2012: 4:10pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
alaoeri: You have rightly answered the questions. Just a quick correction, Once you get your PR, it changes everything and you will enjoy the benefits including school fees. You will cease to be an international student. You can decide to change to part-time study or possibly defer your study. So you WON'T pay as an international student. 4 Likes |
