Fowler has been bringing people from LIRS to FIRS. Probably people he trusts...but one thing is certain, he will not employ now or throw the whole thing wide open.

FIRS is not employing now, nor do they intend to do so in the nearest foreseeable future. Probably all your C.V's will end up in the shredding machine as soon as it is received.

I went there around 12pm and the crowd of people there was massive. Everyone trying to write his or her application letter. I quickly wrote mine and then decided to re-write it on another clean paper. I submitted it with a copy of my cv in a carton box provided outside the gate. When I was about leaving, I was informed by someone that before today, those who have been submitting since Tuesday were given acknowledgement forms stamped and signed. So I went back to the gate to ask about it and on getting there I realized that the carton box I submitted into have been taken inside and cv collection has stopped. Worse still, So many people were yet to submit. The securities said they've been instructed by the management to stop the collection.

Lucky me but I wasn't satisfied as I was not sure it's ok to forget about the acknowledgement form. Just then I saw an FIRS staff outside who came out to collect someone's cv. I walked up to her and told her to help me submit a copy of my cv too. At first she said no but later she called me to bring it and so I gave her the first application I wrote together with the extra copy of my cv I came with. She collected my number and called me in the evening that she was able to submit it for me but wasn't given the acknowledgement.

I hope I have been able to clear your doubts ma'am.

I thought its only cv. I heard of it this afternoon. It's a wrong way to employ though. Those of us in the service are not even aware.
