One interesting thing here is the repeated vandalisation of pipelines. I wonder why past and present governments don't just prosecute offenders immediately. |

Ye apology. I cant believe somebody is apologizing for power failure in a powerless country. Stop decieving yourself mr information minister. I read recently that Ibafo, Mowe and some part of Ijegun and Ijedodo recently celebrated 10 years of no power. To appeal to the people livinf in that area na sacrifice for the gods o besides who cares about all the above stated parable. #JUSTGIVEUSLIGHT. |

Mctimothylota: 1.South Africa has three nuclear power stations. Nigeria has none 2.South Africa has good maintenance culture. Nigeria does not have it. 3.South Africa has a large industrial sector which contributes a lot not only to SA gdp,but even African GDP. As a result...the power supply has to work. 4.SA also exports electricity to many other African countries....meaning the lights better work....or that is a source of forex gone. 5.The average SA citizen pays her or his electricity bill. The average Nigerian for the most part does not. 3 Likes |
