My 6pence :don't blame the developer ,unfortunately lives were lost, but putting the developer in prison is not the way, when BP spilt oil in Gulf of Mexico which destroyed sea lives and environment, Also Shell daily oil spillage killing Ogonis land and lives, did we arrest anyone? When Dana airline crashed were the top management team arrested or the engineer that certified the plane was ok to fly imprisoned etc. all cases of negligence if proven guilty should be tried equally , that why the lady with scales is blindfolded. No one is above the law, some get away with it with their so called connections and affiliates . A heavy fine should be paid by the guilty parties to compensate families or nation , serving time in prison doesn't stop the same mistake being made.
If you arrest him alone, it's unfair.. Arrest everybody involved in the lekki projects, from dormant partners, the banks exec that loaned him money, for not using the money to build good homes, Dangote for cement, Mtn for not registering their lines, BDC for making $$ go up so contractors are cutting corners and the most guilty person here is the Lagos state development control for certifying the building, no one seems to be blaming them. Am sure they would have look at the TDP and then ok'd it.

If I was in one of the lekki apartment I will call a structural engineer now to come access the safety of the buildings.
