thank you man for ur input. abia school fees, and other things is up to 190k. to be honest no much cash

why not change your course to a less competitive one? Any of the courses in the sciences would be perfect..ur jamb score is actually low for optometry! It's a medical course.

say u mean say if i pass utme?
shayb u don do exam
what i mean is that Unilag,i Think uses or considers candidates jamb score and PUTME score in preparing their aggregate
since ur jamb score isnt that high You will do well to Opt for another that doesnt use your jamb score as admission criteria e.g UI

Donpre why not wait till the exam is completed? They you can actually know stats for each school...they might likely reduce..

NB...no school accepts two sittings for med and surg

fedric..if you want a less competitive course go for agriculture..but your subject combo wnt allow you,so you are left with industrial chem and pharm..the latter is competitive, you need a high jamb score..why not try unical..you from the catchment area..im also aspiring for chemistry at unical

on wat grounds r u saying that no skul accepts two sittings for mbbs? AAU has been accepting two sitting since time immemorial. few other mdcn accredited med skuls accept two sittings!
Simply put, skuls receiving as high as 10K plus applicants would cut down these numbers by setting o'level requirements at one sitting. Skuls receiving around 1500 applicants for the same course should also emulate? Jamb, and p-utme will sufice for 'em in reducing the already low number of applicants, so no need for 'em restricting o'level to 1 sitting.

What score range will you consider appropriate for OPT?

Nice thoughts pal, considering the mass failure in 2016's jamb, my chances could be high. I guess I'll postpone changing institution until I perform a detailed research and fully evaluate my chances.

BTW, only the stated 11 universities do not accept 2 sittings, the rest do.... I'm just shocked IMSU does too, ah mean they just have a mere 2600 med aspirants, even NDU has got a larger no. of med aspirants

morning guys... It's been a while...

removes cobwebs

To all those who's results appeared cool, I say congratulations !

To all those who ain't happy with theirs, I still say congratulations and encourage us to be happy and grateful to God for the fact dhat we still alive....

It's been a rough one anyways.... My experience at AAUCOM wasn't friendly I must confess ... Bhu in all, we give thanks to God... I actually thought for a while like " will I be joining this hectic system come September this year?? Lol its well...

From mah findings, ah gathered dhat :
It's advisable dhat all those preparing for the next hurdle ( POST UME) should get set cause from all indication , this year's academic system is gonna be faster dhan the previous...

Post UME are hopefully gonna be written in MAY /JUNE and students (freshers) will resume August /September..

It can be seen now dhat first semester exam has already been conducted in most schools while some are still on it( writing theirs..)

In all, let's all bear in mind dhat we've gat limited time left...

Shout out to everyone here, I pray God crown our effort.. AMEN!!!

Can't wait to see Dr. PilotOz today..

Hehehehehehe....

I would kill you if I could.... why make me laugh when I'm devastated? its just wrong, so f'kin wrong brahgrin..... well balls of titanium huh, I thought only UNN and Uniben med aspirants have those, its sad I'd need to borrow a pair....
The sad part is that I gotta reconsider a lotta sh!t, compare pros and cons, evaluate how much stress I'd be putting on my family, and a whole lot of other things. Its not just about fear of "crazy azz number of aspirants", that I can handle, I just hate being surprised, and now I gotta change a lotta plans in a very short time

Anyway, I believe its God's will, somehow and for some reason(s) he doesn't want me to go to that school, I just pray he guides me to the school he wants for me

You seem to have your putme all figured out, wish I can say the same about mine. I can imagine how you'll dive into your books once the school' term ends.... Hopefully despite all the setbacks, we will get there and become the doctors we're working so hard to become

BTW, extend a knock on the head to jason for me... its from a loving heartgrin
