Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 3:01pm On Mar 12, 2016 |
Hello, I am Ednite Lots of nairalanders have asked me why I am here when they knew i am an Ethiopian. Well, I don't think it does matter because the only reason why am here is to set peace between horners and west africans. I can observe insults coming out from both sides which is so inappropriate. People say "what people think about you doesn't matter but what does matter is who you are". I don't mind after now if a west African insulted me if i know i haven't done any thing wrong, but none of us must open the door for such a thing saying it doesn't matter, It DOES! We expect white people to respect us but we Africans don't even know how to respect each other. That's just some thing we have to get rid of And lets stop talking about races, pleasssseeeeee Any ways, thank you for taking time reading this. I hope y'all get me. I am sorry if there are guys out there whom I've disappointed, Greetings to Waltaw, Azontoghost, captainswag225, robosky02, Tampinu, Eghosa1 and ol ya PEACE! 3 Likes |

Great post Ed. I admire your wishes for Africa's unity in order to foster our growth and development. Truth is the disparity between horners and West Africans is little compared to disparity between horners and horners and then West Africans and their like. AFRICANS must realize that we are one entity and work out our salvation. Without unity, we sure are going nowhere. Your post did show that you're all for peace and that's a huge step. See you in Ethiopia pretty soon. |

Ednite: my dear how are you doing i love what Lucky Dube said "when i see a black man i see Gods image and when i see a white man i see Gods image" its a shame when i see people who RELATE to others based on race and tribe it shows lack of good self esteem. Nairaland is "ONE WORLD" that unites all its not a limited to just nigeria, its a CYBER WORLD were any one can live in we are here to learn, get intertained, informed and make friends from all over. i must say just from you i've learnt a lot about Ethiopia. so never allow shalow mind bully you out this cyber world. big up to you one love, one africa, Jah rules, ya man blazee on 1 Like |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 8:35am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Ednite: 23 degrees to us is not hot to us, that's actually cold lol. But if you ever visit Africa, you will fry lol. What the religion are Ethiopians majorly? |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 8:54am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Dreamwaker: What about 10 degrees or 8 degrees, cuz that's what we experience at night. lol Any ways, Orthodox Christians makes up 71% in the capital Islam is next But in the whole country, Orthodox Christians and Muslims are being balanced. It's an ancient christian country thou Lot of 'em might think it's a Muslim country cuz we are surrounded by Somalia, Eritrea and Djibouti, which are Muslim states |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 9:12am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Ednite: I think if we had 8 degrees here, many people will freeze to death lol. We ain't used to that kinda weather. Ethiopia is kinda like Nigeria, Christians are like 50% and Muslims 40% then other religions 10%. So are you going to church today? |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:04am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Dreamwaker: I was in church, went there in the midnight and stayed there for 5 hrs |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:07am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Dreamwaker: But the difference here is that only Orthodox Christians can make 50% leave alone the other Christians, |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:11am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Ednite: Oh OK, here we have too many types of Christians. I think majority are Pentecostal. I haven't been in church in a while. Did you go for night vigil or something? |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:14am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Dreamwaker: I went there @ 6 pm We are fasting for 2 months, Easter is coming so it's necessary to get there more than any tym But which christian are you? |
Re: Why I Am In Nairaland Eventhough I Am Not A Nigerian by Nobody: 10:20am On Mar 13, 2016 |
Ednite: OK fasting is great but 2 months is a lot. I don't think I can fast that long. I was a Catholic as a kid but changed to a Pentecostal when I got older. Now I don't know where I belong but I know I'm a Christian. |
