bosunjohns:Manure and fertilizer alone cannot grow plants successfully. Sixteen other elements are involved in growing plants apart from Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Elements like cassium, boron, zinc are found in trace quantity in soil. When they are exhausted by plants during food production, replenishing takes a while. So it's important you change the soil if you don't want stories that touch |

mickey45: U mean how did the strawberry do? They germinated but later died because I was not there to take care of them. Only the seedlings survived. I still have spare strawberry seeds I intend planting later |
