please don't rush,wait till you resume,then speak to your supervisor or a lecturer or even a senior colleague,know the minimum and maximum credit load you can carry,find out the scheme of work for each course,so you will know the elective courses you can pick or drop make you no go take you hand enter fire...I think registration is suppose to last six weeks

Believe me bruh, my dept is choking us and we barely have time for ourselves. I'll ask around for peeps in Human Nutrition too, then try to link you up. I think it's the best I can do.
In all, my candid advice is that you come and verify things yourself.

Although I'm not for Mechanical Engineering but from what I've seen here on this thread as regards Professional and Academic Masters programme, It seems the tuition fee for Professional is much more than Academic.
I would rather you made some more enquiries about your department so that you wouldn't be misinformed. The case might be different in your department.

I can't say got my mail on Saturday notifying me of my clearance on Tuesday tho it. Was sent 10 times guess it. Was auto tingy and my portal was also updated wondering if they work on Saturday too.

Everyone must go through this stage of waiting, although the time differs. You have to wait till your portal shows cleared for registration, then you can go ahead to the school fee portal and generate your tuition invoice.

Mind you, print all relevant documents from your portal while waiting. You won't have access to the old portal after you have been cleared for registration.
