Willy obiano is trying, I am not discrediting him. That express is in the open, once everyone see it, it will cloud there judgments as to look inside the town and other places.

I can remember doing obi days, the streetlight in hinterlands, Ifite rd, government house, authur eze avenue are not functioning obiano made it work again.

Obi didn't built any mall in Awka, obiano is doing that.

There were no smart police cars and surveillance helicopter in awka , obiano provided that.

There were no marked roads and traffic signs with traffic lights in Awka, obiano provided that.

There were no smart bus stops in awka , Obaino provided that.

Awka was like haven to criminality, obiano provided tight security around Awka and environs.

There was no initiatives for greenwood city in Awka, obiano provided that.

There were no much estate in Awka, Obaino is still providing more.

Obiano has bought in more investors in Awka than past administration's 8years.

Though I commend obi But obiano has surpassed him already.

Though am a big fan of Obaino,but are you trying to tell me that those houses in the pics weren't there before he came to power 2 years ago? The only difference I saw in those pics was a demolition taking place at that roundabout.

Awka was less-developed than Orlu in Imo, both towns were on the same status, before Awka was made Anambra state capital. Today Orlu is many decades of development behind Awka.

The present state govt of Imo state only built three dual carriage streets in Orlu and disappeared to Owerri.

Lolz, this is just a cheer hypocrisy. I don't need to visit awka two years ago and den now to see things for myself, I live in awka, I am @ awka as I type.(have lived in awka for 8yrs now) I graduated from d dept of statistics, unizik and still live in awka.


If the flyover is the only thing u re celebrating, it is no big deal, it is worth celebrating, but please remove other pictures. U are not ashamed that u re celebrating hotels that virtually wasn't started in the last three years,


Mention any hotel that it's foundation was started and completed in d last two years in awka. Mention any fast food whose building was not there b4 obiano. What have u? Mention them, I will tell u how it started and people involved(contractors or owners)

And are you aware that obiano will be marking just 2 years in office this week and yet he has put all these things in place? You are opportuned to pass through your yeye locality to abakiliki after pleading with the driver to take Onitsha- Enugu express way. What other things do you think that you will see apart from enjoying the massive flyovers and good road in Awka express.

FG is handling the federal road from Onitsha to Awka. Anambra is developing State-widely unlike others. Anambra has some of the best road networks in Nigeria, below are some of state roads.

lies. No work is going on on the onitsha to awka road.I passed there twice ysterday. Road they abandoned many months ago since mid last year. Contractor is not even on site.today's rain has turned there to a nightmare.

I also commend obiano too. So, after spending billions of state fund to construct roads, and den another person now spends little amount ( just a little percentage of the money spent in building roads) to mark them, but traffic lights, put road signs, it now means the later outshine the former?

If obi has been like mabdinuju, that has not been doing roads and all that around anambra as a whole, investors wouldn't have seen anything to entice them.
Obiano, started his awka mall, d same way obi initiated the onitsha mall.


Which estate in awka that obiano initiated, that is bigger than the ones in Govt house, face3 estate(back of unizik, by Agu awak if u follow express), the commissioner quaters, Govt house itself, iyiagu, ngozika, udoka, and some other estates behind ngozika and iyiagu. Also the ones towards abakaliki streets.

I stayed in Awka for 2 months and just got back to lagos. I am not impressed by any development you guys are celebrating here. The same road that is not good from onitsha to Awka. OP you just snapped few places that are okay but gave an impression that the road is good.

If that is how you celebrate your development, well it is good for you. To me Enugu and Imo state are far developed than Anambra from several criteria.

The light on the bridge is a misplaced priority. There is no traffic on the bridge where light is installed. There are several places that need government attention but not attended to.

I was tempted to quote u, onitsha-awka is a federal road don't mention that road. Imo is a big Bush governed by a media governor. Have u been to egbema or oguta in imo state? Visit there and you will want to flog Rochas. I schooled in Futo and umuchima-ihiagwa has no access road. Awka's problem is they construct roads and don't make proper provision for pedestrians, then there are no malls their greatest supermarket is at arroma, forgotten the name of that popular super market. Awka is a frustating town though, very boring.
