The following occupations have been flagged in this financial year. What it means is that they may or may not be removed in the future. Remember that new financial year starts in July of every year. Whatever you need to do, just do it because anything can happen.

I guess your MSc is from UK. Then u can apply for Australia visa subclass 476. It allows recent engineering graduate from countries sign to the Washington accord to apply for a 18months temporary visa.

The visa allow u to work full-time or study if u want. But u must be less than 31 years and apply within two years after graduation.
.

Can this class lead to PR afterwards?

Hello!

Im an Australian citizen looking to get a visitors visa for my Nigerian fiance to visit Australia. I'd love some advice on our rather complicated situation, which I'll try to explain in detail.

We currently both live in Shanghai and want to visit Australia for the birth of our first child which is due in August. We will then return back home to Shanghai.

My fiance is Nigerian and also holds Mozambique citizenship. He has been living in China for over 5 years with his Chinese working Visa (exports), with his Mozambique passport. I've been in Shanghai since June 2015 after meeting my fiance on a vacation to China the previous year.

He's currently in Nigeria visiting family and getting his new passport, which will be a Nigerian one (the country where he was born.)

So having 2 passports is further complicating things as the Mozambique passport is under his christian name, and the Nigerian one must be under his traditional Nigerian name. So technically he'll be re-entering china with a new passport name! I'm concerned this means we wont have a record of us actually living together...and it will look strange.

So he will be applying for an Australian visitors visa (sub600 i believe?) with his Nigerian passport and I have no idea what documents we will need to provide to explain all this. As he's still in Nigeria I'm trying to sort it out now, while he still has the chance to talk with immigration over there.

Too crazy!!

With your B.Sc most schools won't offer you admission into diploma or certificate program unless you going to hide your degree & it will raise an eyebrow at Pretoria, questions like what are doing all these years after your school cert? the best shot is to go for post graduate diploma or graduate certificate with pathways to M.Sc.

The taste of the pudding is in the eating. I am not sure anyone here can answer the question except AITSL. If he meets the requirements, he should get a positive response.

Like I said, until he put in for the assessment, no one can confidently say yes or no, individual circumstances are different.

@Cuteannie02,

Since your occupation is on the SOL list, apply for the 189 subclass. You only need minimum of 60points. First step though is to assess your skills and qualification with the assessing authority for your occupation.

@Swimgood,

The company can prepare payslip for him since he works there. However, without bank statement and tax clearance, I wouldn't know how he can navigate that water if the CO ask for additional documents.

Better get your 60points without claiming work experience.

Thanks a lot @bellong, I now know that vetassess is my assessing body, I have a question for those who have used them before ;
Please what format should d uploaded documents be, docs or pdf?
As for employment history, I wasn't issued a pay slip for my salary, what do you suggest I do, has anyone been in my shoes please?
As for the document checklist for subclass 189, is it mandatory to attach my transcript in my application?
Please kindly enlighten me as I don't want to make any mistakes.
A big thank you to everyone that has been taking time to answer all our rookie questions on this forum, patiently waiting for ur responses

@Cuteannie02,

PDF is the only advisable way to attach documents. That way it is not easy to edit your documents.

Your transcript must be sent by your institution directly to VETASSES while your certificate is enough to upload for the main application.

If you were paid into the bank, your bank statement and employment offer letter should suffice.

Okay sir. I don't know anything about NZ PR processes. It's only OZ I/other gurus here can provide the necessary guidelines for. I hope you've gone through the links. Hope you met the assessing body requirements. You can always ask your questions here or if it's a private one, I just sent you a PM...

I salute you, you're my senior as far as Supply Chain is concerned. You've been in it for 7yrs while mine is just 2.

Good luck sir...

As a newbiee to all this I am relying on the expertise of the house to make my decision. I don't really know which is better of the two. But personally I am looking for the most direct and straightforward of the two, easier to settle environment and lower costs of living. In general, they offer almost similar high standards of living.
