Thanks. This is so reassuring.

You can get the browsing time using more than one email. Once u exhaust one, set it up with another email. I did that and never got bored. You can also window shop. When u r thirsty, ask for free water. Sleep, if u feel like, they also allow pregnant women stay in the Business class lounge.
My layover was just for 5hrs though.

Best advice to that question @TheLeakyTribe couldn't stop laughing.

If you haven't left Nigeria @christy you can call BA to help rearrange your trip.

You don't have to spend 10 hours in Heathrow, you might just have to go through another airport in the US as your POE not necessarily Atlanta.

TheLeakyTribe:

Pele.

1st 30 minutes -get free WiFi for however long it lasts and ping and browse and inform your people that the 1st leg of your journey has been done and dusted.

2. ask around, some airlines give free meals when you have long layovers.

3. find a secluded corner with enough seats for you to lie down, if possible get one Close to your check in area, restrooms and a screen were you can see flight details.

4. lie down and snooze.

5. this is very important when you have a long layover it is essential that you have as little carry on luggage as possible.

6. wake up, check the time and snooze some more. ignore anyone asking you to sit up, you're pregnant you need the rest grin

7. window shop.

8. exercise your toilet breaks( if you're like me you'll probably have 10 or more in the 10 hour wait )

9. begin to realise that long lay overs are frustrating and promise yourself never to do it again.

10. do it again and repeat 1 to 9 because, cheaper tickets!

You are right@ using another POE but won't she end up taking 3 flights instead of 2? Scratching my head and thinking

I welcomed my lil prince on Sunday morning at Oakbend. Dr E was on hand, called her before leaving for the hospital. The hospital wasn't bad as I had pictured in my mind. Kind nurses were on hand & as many mums can testify, Dr E was fantastic. Baby & I were discharged Monday evening. Can't be thankful to God enough. Second missionary journey, check! Will give update on bills later.

u might need to obtain another travel document though to bring her back to Nigeria from UK, depending on the one you previously obtained from the US

I've had to apply for both my mum and mum in law. In both cases, assisting me was the purpose.

Contact was Dr F. Burden of proof were my documents.

Thank you very much for this.

Dear All friends, I was reading all post from all of you, really appreciated your shared experience which will be helpful for others.
My story is:
Me and my wife have B1/B2 visa issued from Dubai, my wife is pregnant, our plan to having our baby at oakbend hospital Houston.
could please advise us about the required document to be provided at CBP counter? do we've risk to return us home on the same flight?
Do we nee to make a deposit to oakbend hospital around 600$ nonrefundable to take the hospital and doctor confirmation?

Your replies will be highly appreciated.

Many thanks

I will be blunt with u. U didn't deserve to get the visa because u saw the light and refused to follow that path.
Who on this thread had 20m in their account?
Is Dr F the only doctor in the whole US?
The only trick u picked up was to admit u were pregnant and then send a letter of intent in a few weeks.
This is our problem. We prefer the easier route. U had America on your mind but u refused to work for it. Why do we create a bad name for ourselves? Oya na. U have learnt the hard way

shocked shocked shocked I like the calm LadyG #BringbackcalmladyG# grin
