mrsfrank: Hello mrsfrank Kindly answer the following? Age? Occupation? Has this happened before? Any trauma to the area? Asides the UTI, and other chronic or acute illness? (arthritis, diabetes mellitus, kidney problems). What was your MCS report? Working with the UTI hypothesis, I'll say you have Reiters Syndrome. UTI associated joint pain. If that be the case, I'll suggest you switch to iv/im drugs. |

Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Baxilexi(m): 12:18pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
mrsfrank: Knee and hip pains, I recommend athrotec or whatever painkiller your doctor deems fit. Do an FBC + ESR, Repeat urinalysis + ECS. To guide us on the proper antibiotic to use. |
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Baxilexi(m): 12:36pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
julsuc: Hello Julsuc Visit a clinic and have an extensive vaginal examination done( to check for any mass in the cervix, cervical ectropion, or infection), then an ECS, and lastly a colposcopy. Then a day 3 & day 21 Hormonal profile. Your condition comes on to me as a contact bleed. Hopefully, the cause discovered with these investigations. 1 Like |

Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Baxilexi(m): 10:25am On Mar 14, 2016 |
owagbeba: Hello owegbeba Please post the labs reference range. Why did you run those tests? Any relevant briefing I should know about? The slight elevation in creatinine could be negligible or an indicator of impending kidney problems. |
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Baxilexi(m): 10:30am On Mar 14, 2016 |
julsuc: Noted. Thanks for the addition, but still, you should run those investigations. TTC is also a part of your complaint. |

Rukkington: Hello rukkington A problem known is half solved. Visit a clinic and request treatment for the HYPERPROLACTINAEMIA, everything else will fall into place. I recommend Dorstinex, you'll be administered as appropriate. |

Baxilexi: OK, Thnx Doc I will still go back on cd21 for progesterone test From d result, does it mean I av not been ovulating or ovulating poorly because my estrogen is below normal too. Pls dr, how long will it take for my estrogen and Prolactin to normalise and wat can I use for my estrogen cos d normal range starts from 30 and mine is 21. |
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Baxilexi(m): 4:04pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
Rukkington: Have you been ovulating? The indices of the test suggests to me that, you have not been ovulating. That makes me wonder about the other hormonal profiles you've done. Normal estrogen and prolactin levels? They will normalise as soon as you begin treatment to regularise your prolactin levels. What you can use for your estrogen? I'd advice you do the former first and not worry about the estrogen, but if you must, your doctor can prescribes estrogen pill for you. 1 Like |

Good day doc. Pls I'm a lady of 24 yrs. I was treated of a staph infection about 4 months ago. I also did a confirmatory MCS test to ascertain whether I was free from the infection. It was negative. My question however is that I experience this pain which lasts for less than 3 mins The pain has been on and off for about some months, dunno exactly. It affects my whole stomach, it is not restricted to a particular side and lower back. I also get this ache whenever I am nervous. Pls what is this? Awaiting your response, thanks. |

Usually metformin is prescribed wit high success. Couple wit healthy diet n gud weight loss u shld av ur bfp all thinz being equal |
