Lalasticlala
You think Lalasticlala is someone? Really?
How many of you know that Lalasticlala is only
an online app designed for tapping trending
pictures from twitter handles with certain
celebrity and political tags?
It is also an app that scans NL for front page
requests. Recently upgraded to include traffic
tweets from @gidi_traffic.
Come to think of it, or do you think any human
being would actually sit in front of his laptop
24/7 with 360degrees twitter surveillance and
NL post surveillance in a country of little or no
power supply plus very high cost of fuel? Yet
not even have his own opinions shared online? I
mean, we read seuns posts in dog or advert
sections, we read ishiloves post in romance
section...(I guess)....but this lala of a stick...all
you see is that if he is viewing a thread, two
things are about to happen, it's either that
thread goes down or it makes front page...or
better still, someone somewhere in Nigeria gets
a ban...hehehehe
Or you see programmed comments like "pls
include a source in your write up" signalling that
the app is about to take you to FP. Lol
Oh give me a break you dogmatist. Let's be
realistic for once okay?
Is there really anyone behind that moniker cos I
think it's just an app.

Lagos state is no doubt the commercial power house state of Nigeria (I stand corrected) ..So if yhu've lived in lagos before or yhu are still living lagos then yhu must have noticed these 10 things about Lagos city

1.Traffic: do I need to talk? An average lagosian spend a quarter of their day in traffic situations..it can be terrible Specially on mondays ...ocry

2.Area boys:The ubiquitous street urchins can sure make life difficult for lagosians when they start trouble..The recent Mile 12 clash is example enoughwww.nairaland.com/attachments/3484216_areaboys1_jpegbe30341239edb9db9f8e823264fec481

3.Expensive rent: Lagos Rents should be among the Highest in the world. The exorbitant rent is the Reason for proliferation to slums in the city

4.Road Rage: In Lagos every driver is Mad,Yes..The stress and wahala is too much everyone vents their anger on the steering wheels and gas pedal... Even vin diseal and his crew of fast n furious cannot survive 5 mins in lagos road no kidding...grin

5.Annoying beggers: These beggers have no chill..there's one man around anyike bridge tat his "son" is in the hospital and needs immediate help to buy some expensive drugs..I felt pity for the man until I kept seeing him everyday I come dey wonder the pikin never die since undecided ....
Other beggers will follow yhu until yhu budge n give them 'something' ..the ones wey dey always need N50 for transport nko??

6.Exciting Night life: Yes o...There's no dulling in Lagos city...Yhu can get just about anything yhu need in the night as much as yhu can in daytime cool

7.Lagos police: Although Governor Ambode is 'Tushing' them up some of them are still very corrupt and have no regard for civilian life,I was pushed of a moving Bike by some police men because they wanted to catch the bike man, because he was operating 'at illegal hours' it was few minutes to 10pm. Then cry

8.Pickpockets and traffic robbers: Ts sad these hoodlums cannot channel their skills into something legal in the society...If yhu are 'sharp' Yhu can never fall victim to these pickpocket ers...as for the Traffic robbers..... embarassed

9.Too many Gwagons and RangeRovers in Lekki/Ajah area :I just had to add these grin

10.Add Yhurs smiley

How many part of the world have you been to before you say Rent in Lagos is among the highest in the world. The average rent for a 3 bedroom is only N400k per annum not up to £1000. A similar rent in the UK, US or canada and even Angola will be £1400 per month

Do u know the meaning of average? In my estate a 3 bedroom apartment costs at least N1,000,000. Pls 400k cannot be the average. Though FCT is likely higher in rents than Lagos. Moreover, your math is very poor cos 1400$= about 300k naira if we go by the current cbn exchange rate.

It is you that is poor in Maths. Did you read my statement well. if you pay £1400 per month for a 2-3 bedroom house . How much does that translate to per annum at the exchange rate of N450 to a £. You don't go out of the country to see what obtains in other places.

The figure you quoted is N350-400k per annum. I am telling you people pay £1400 per month in other parts of the world. At exchange rate of 450 to £1 you are talking of N7.56m per annum.

Okay my bad. But still doesn't make your previous assertion right. There are service apartments in Lagos that cost up to $15k per annum so I still maintsin that ur average is wrong.

Don't be annoyed oh... But would it hurt to spell 'you' and 'yours' correctly?
This isn't an instant message, settle down... take your time to read over.
You have a very lovely post but those spelling issues make reading it feel like eating rice and having to crush tiny rocks hidden among the grains.
Packaging comes in different forms!
I hope you wont come back at me with insults I really mean well.

And yes please add Lagos Rain.
