the igbo i know will never support the best
Then you don't know the igbo.
Even in the corporate world,an igbo brother of yours will not bring you into an organisation where he is boss till you have a 1st class degree,a postgraduate and all necessary professional qualifications, while the northerner will flood the place with his brothers who can't speak good and clear english and don't even know jack about the job. Igbos are the only tribe who will look beyond tribe but for professionalism.
Now politically, are you aware that yorubas have always been getting it wrong since the history of Nigeria. That's why they were always seeing themselves in perpetual opposition. Even Awolowo cried out that if only he could be president for just one day,but it eluded him. Even when he came back to contest against the younger politicians in 1979,the duo of shagari and ekwueme beat him hands down.
Even in 1999,the yorubas lined up behind Falae and shinkafi(AD and APP alliance) and the SE and SS rooted for PDP's Obj(even though he's yoruba). We didn't come insulting the yorubas when they lost.
In 2011,Tinubu under A.C.N fronted Ribaadu and Adeola(ex gtb MD) while we stood behind GEJ,yorubas lost again as well as Buhari under CPC. We didn't even bother to insult yorubas.
For the very 1st time,it clicks for the yorubas calculations and its been insults for igbos ever since. That's immaturity.

Though, these guys chances are slim. If igbos were to sit down and chose,am sure they'll want to put the best of the best forward. Hence,I will go with men like Osita Chidoka. He'll make us proud before the whole nation.
But if we want the kind of candidate that will make the whole nation swear against our ever ruling again, then we'll put Rochas Okorocha forward(aka nwokem, ima onye mbu?)

But personally,I believe that the men of south extraction who will rule Nigeria may not even be among this crop of these ones we see on Tv now.
(m ba, amaghim mu onye bu), but what I know is that ( You are a MURDERER!) kikikikiki, I no fit laugh.

Would you like to add 'over your dead body' to that your sentence if you are certain?

Ps,go and look at history, yoruba votes have always produced failure.

3rd republic was botched(though it was a detribalised election).
4th republic- the yorubas voted for a falae/shinkafi ticket(AD and APP alliance) and lost to OBj of PDP who was heavily backed by the SE and SS with a section of d north loyal to atiku then.
2011,Tinubu forwarded Ribadu and Adeola and the yorubas voted for him while the SE and SS voted GEJ. A section of the north voted Buhari(CPC) and the rest to Obj. We all know that the yorubas failed woefully.

The black race is just blind, the op is just showing you the future of nigerian politics dat igbo and yorubas would form a formidable force against the north if they countinue with this attitude of born 2 rule nd if dat bond is formed that's when you'll c greatness in dis country. The truth is dat yorubas would and is getting fed up of the north.

Hausa will never vote for Ibo, if Ibos still harbour scars of the civil war believe me the Hausa man never forgot what the ibos did to them, so that's 50% of the electorate gone. Yoruba who were generally open minded because up till now had no reason to hate any other tribe and whom you need if you have any hopes to actualize an ibo president, you are now alienating with hate and venom, so tell me how do you want to get the votes to actualize an Ibo presidency?

Mark my words, all other subregions, even minorities will produce a president before the SE zone produces one and just as generations of Ibos have not forgotten the civil war, it will take more than a generation for Yorubas to forget the hate in the Ibo hearts towards the Yorubas that we are noe seeing. So to answer your question, it will not happen in my lifetime.

Ibos have turned themselves into the most universally mistrusted tribe in Nigeria, No tribe trusts the Ibo man and no voter block outside the south east and sooth south will vote for a tribe that 1) doesn't believe in the unity of Nigeria and 2) displays an unrepentant and brazen hatred towards the other tribes to be the president of Nigeria.

You guys have set the Ibos back 100 years, Only a few years ago it could have been possible but now Nigeria will never vote for an Ibo president and you can take that to the bank!

with the above analysis, it is very clear that anioma is not Igbo and Igbo is not anioma. Anioma be warned
This goes to show that on a normal day core igbos don't accept Anioma people as Igbos, They only accept Anioma when they want to claim their selfish biafra. However, Igbos lack cohesion, political smartness and are overtly corrupt. Each state in the east can hardly boast of any truthful/honest leader or revere political figure.

Yorubas never had a problem with igbos until 2015 elections. I dont think it ever crossed my mind that there could never be an igbo president. No one even talked like that. You dont even hear pple discussing it in beer parlours as a joke. I never even heard of nnamdi kalu before. But everyones eyes has cleared and they have seen REALITY. Lmao! Clearly igbos have hated yorubas since d biafran war and ingrained it in their toddler-bots. Its apparent wt every fraudulent lie spewed. angry Who cares actually? Doesnt bother me anyhow. As long as we are not teaching our own children hatred.
But Wickedness Is In The DNA Of Every Yoruba, Is Inborn. So Their Children Need No One To Teach Them.

It will shock you to know that an hausa trust igbos more than yorubas anyday.
Why do u think the northern oligarchy became jittery when Abiola was leading at the polls? Why do u think they got IBB to annul it?
Also they don't trust yorubas being too close. Abacha's case with Diya is a clear example where the yorubas who were too close almost ousted him. They know yorubas tendency to backstab and take over if you put them next to you.
Look at the history of nigeria. Its been as follows: Zik/balewa. Shagari/ekwueme. Even obj wasn't bcked by yorubas. U went with falae and lost. This buhari is ur first successful alliance.
Hausas whom you foolishly defend still trust igbos more than yorubas even up to the corporate level

this is the problem with Ibos, you are too driven by sentiment and never use your brains. Not that I have a problem with them but where did I defend hausas? where did I talk of hausas trusting yorubas. You people keep redefining the argument instead of focusing on the realities. This is a discussion about the electability of an Ibo man, the relationship between hausa and yoruba is irrelevant. Hausas are not the ones who have never been or never will be president, yorubas are not the ones that have never been or never will be president But just for the record, hausa and yoruba have worked together many times.

The Ibo man has a chip on his shoulder, he is untrustworthy and he hates other tribes, this is the issue, forget about yoruba or Hausa, we are not the ones complaining!!!

The quicker you people tone down the hate rhetoric the better for you. Nobody votes for a man who hates him to rule over him, it's just common sense and in the collective stupidity of the Ibo man they have now told the rest of Nigeria that they hate us, so good luck becoming president. The stupidity of the Ibos is that they have told us they hate us, a wise man does not reveal himself to his enemy and then expect the same enemy to put him in power over him. Like I said as a collective, stupidity reigns!!!

Its all well and good in ur analysis. At least u speak the truth dt igbos and hausas have always bn in alliance in all our failed democracies, unlike ur brothers dt keep repeating the LIE dt its hausas and yorubas dt have bn in bed wt each other. VERY GOOD!

My only problem wt ur analysis is 2011 elections.

84% of yorubas voted GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN! He was hands down OUR candidate. Ribadu (tinubus candidate) only won osun state in d SW and by a small margin. I will assume ur not playing fast and loose wt the truth by adding a little lie to make ur point though - so i'll juggle ur memory. In 2011 elections GEJ won 22million votes, Buhari won 12million votes and Ribadu won 2million votes nationwide.

Again. 84% of yorubas voted GEJ in 2011. 54% voted buhari in 2015. GEJ was a more resounding SW candidate dn buhari ever was. FACT!
