The travails of the same awolowo and the crisis in western region(engineered by ahma%u bello) was what provoked nzeogwu's coup. They planned to restore awolowo as the premier. But what happened later? The same awolowo after his release, and inspired by hatred and jealousy, joined the same north wh put him in prison to persecute igbos who fought for him. Even US dip.
