CONSEQUENCE: Dangote announces plans to establish tomato puree factory in Kano. OPPORTUNITIES: Farm-out agreement by Dangote. Local farmers will benefit. Fertilizer sellers will benefit. There's opportunity in haulage and trucking. Access to credit. Land speculators and Lawyers drafting legal agreement will benefit. There'll be opportunity in packaging and printing, etc. I've just mentioned one. Everyday you see Nairalanders posting their farm yields of cucumber, etc. Now is not the time to sit down and shout 'body odour'. Now is not the time to update and re-update empty CV. The big corrupt SPREAD between official rate (197) and the black market rate (320) means any SMART businessman who has access to the official rate for importing machines, raw materials etc is BETTER OFF selling and pocketing over 50% net profit than waiting to turn things around for an UNCERTAIN gross margin of 20-30%, not so
