I just opened my email and saw this Gtbank alert. This to me looks like daylight robbery.

GENS = GTBank Electronic Notification Service. That charge covers all the SMS Alerts you've been receiving for that period. 1 Like |

Why not divide the amount by the number of days to know how much per transaction or day. I actually had this issue back then and I stopped the SMS alerts in favor of emails. |

EgunMogaji: Email is free like bigtt76 said. I think you can disable the SMS alert (for credit and debit), but you may be charged for the SMS for OTP (i.e the codes sent to you when you want to make an online payment). Best to confirm from your bank nonetheless. 1 Like |
