The unfortunate massacre in Agatu happened suddenly. The fulani herdsmen struck without notice and since that happened, soldiers have been deployed in Benue to restore order.

On the other hand, the PH elections have been on the front burner since the original elections. It has been violence all the way, the most recent trend is the incessant assassinations across the city.

We read reports almost on a daily basis in the last week about how both Governor Wike and Minister Amaechi have been throwing threats at each other over the upcoming by-elections.

Do you seriously expect any serious government to sit back and allow elections degenerate into war? I can bet that you will be on the band wagon of people that will criticise the government for failing to secure lives and property in PH if they fail to do so.

How much tension was in Ekiti State during the last gubernatorial elections that made the previous government deploy troops to that state? Did you find it necessary to issue curses on yourself then like you are doing now?
