cjrex501:There's no certainty in Visa approval, we have seen 3M SOA given visa, as well as denying SOA of 20M. However, it depends on who the sponsor is. If your parents are the sponsor, that's feasible. If is other relatives then u have to convince the VO why he made you his priority, despite having his own responsibilities I.e, his children and wife. Conclusively, your tuition and living expenses will also be pivotal! |

ChristineC:I don't think you can attach anything with CIC form, do a table of contents attach additional documents on SOP space...next time try and say "can someone please" it's not mandatory people answer your questions 8 Likes |

Dbnagato: I am not an expert, but if I was the VO, I'd probably have rejected your application as well. Don't jump on me- it's a fact. 1. Your sponsor's SOA will pay for your tuition but in the system of things, it appears low. I know your uncle will foot all your bills when you are over there but I think that's the first thing a VO might find off putting. In other words, you would be too dependent on someone over there, which they translate as you straining on their system as against adding to it. 2. You are currently undergoing a BSc in Nigeria and it is clear you are not done with it yet you are opting to go out. To them it appears like you have no plans of returning. They will couple this with the fact that you have an uncle who has a house and project it to mean, you'd have a house, and food, so nothing is stopping you from forgetting school and just working menial jobs whilst there. Perhaps, to correct their impression I will advice that you upped your SOA regardless of if you'd depend on your uncle whilst there. The point is, you want a VO to not tick financial deficiency as a reason for denial. I'd also advice that you wrote a good SOP capturing how the course you are reading in UNIPORT was not your first choice and how that the Uni of Regina? would offer you what you truly intended on studying. I feel obliged to reiterate that I am no expert. Just giving a cursory analysis of your application. 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Bandeco(m): 4:55pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Jackson755:Don't dwell on ur finances this time.. According to you, the VO didn't tick lack of funds as a reason for the denial. Ur finances are very Okay.... Try to show more home tie and why the program is necessary at this point in ur career. How the program will advance ur choosen field upon your return to Nigeria... These are areas you need to dwell on... Good luck |

Bandeco: Thank you for your response. please saying home tie what do you really mean. Everything that proves am a Nigerian plus my assets and my dads assets. I sent a copy in my application. I am single obviously with no kids. what else could i add?. Thank you. Plus no school would give me a Msc admission coz of my third class Bsc. hence i chose a PGC. isn't that a valid reason? thou i did not state this phrase in my soa |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Papichulon: 5:23pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Thanks for your response. I don't hav a link to that...Should I try nd get an msc? But I graduated with 2:2 so it's gonna be difficult, So I should include my siblings birth certificate accompanied with a strong SOP on y I choose d course nd how it wld benefit me on my return. Thanks |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Mrsnja: 5:29pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Bamz: You need to contact the institution first. They will instruct you on how to generate a reference number or code and with that you can begin to fill the form. I'm assuming the process is the same as western money business solutions because that was the one I used and it worked very well. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Bamz(m): 5:34pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Mrsnja: That's fairly straightforward. I've been to the WUBS portal. It's just using the form A that may pose a hassle. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Jackson755: 6:12pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Wow even after paying full fees and having goof Financial balance. Hmmn. My guess my brother u should have applied for Msc. I was also denied too but with your CGPA i feel you can get a Msc admission. I chose a PGC cause of my third class degree. even with my well travalled passport and expirec n valid visas. I was denied. I learnt my mistakes thou. I would reapply again. I guess u should apply for a Msc then add like birth certs of ur siblings and plenty prayer. Guess many need a refund from ur school or if they can transfer the fees to the new school u plan to apply to which i doubt the possibility. cheers mate wayaa007: |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by wayaa007(m): 6:23pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Jackson755:i added passport, and birth certificate...I just feel there's a reason for this sudden refusal for many people |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by tosanlfaith(f): 6:25pm On Mar 18, 2016 |
Jackson755: A gcms is a text/note written by the visa officer stating the *main* reason why he/she is denying your study permit. the refusal letter is generic, it doesn't state much. see attached sample;
