All these car enthusiasts, why are you harassing everyone, your own is to give advise and leave the person to take or leave it. If you advise me and make me feel like an idiot in the process, by instinct I will fight you back.
So please politely make your position known and don't totally close your ears to what people that have used it say. Amazingly you might have one or two things to learn

The problem we all have is that we listen to reply rather than listen to understand the other.

From the discussions so far, impression I'm having (though I might be wrong) is that most of these "diasporans" feel once you reside in Nigeria you are ignorant, that is far from the truth, you really don't know who we all are. We may be in Nigeria, but who we really are might dwarf you that either earn to feed her majesty or 401k.
You need to bow ur head in shame if you check this product it's from the diaspora. Not made in Nigeria. Almost all of us abroad have families in Nigeria so what's your point?
The worst thing you can do when you are in any spot is DO NOTHING.

Oponu ode, not when the asshat move you make involves the public. And not when you're helping to advertise a crap product.

It'll make sense to you soon enough that the problem we have is not Nigeria but Nigerians just like you.

If you run your car in your compound, no problem. The minute you place it on public road and you endanger the public then it becomes my problem.

You're the kind of whack job that installed Uni directional tire wrongly on the vehicle that killed the Senator recently.

Manufacturers, tire or otherwise, spend fortunes on research and development to perfect their product. Then some barely past jeleosinmi educated numptie will start modifying stuff and think he knows better.

You keep saying to keep my mouth shut. Newsflash, it's never going to happen, I'm on you like 5 & 6.

I'm not selling the product so it's not my job to prove anything beyond reasonable assumption based on years as an autoist.

It is the job of the seller/manufacturer to provide proof of the lengthy r&d that was performed as well as independent testing by a lab.

Amazon.Com is an online shopping mall.

Amazon.Com is not an independent automotive testing lab ad thus DO NOT verify, test or stand behind sellers claims. Unless it's an illegal merchandise such as child porn then Amazon will sell it.

I'm disappointed that you would attempt to use Amazon.Com as a litmus test on what is an acceptable product on a motor vehicle.

The sad thing is that there are probably more like you out there in the wild.

I would like to believe you're not dense, and you possess at the very least above-average intelligence. Bolt-on does NOT necessarily refer to a physical bolt. It refers to an add-on. This could be an extra service your mobile phone service provider has as an option to your regular call service on your phone - SMS, data are bolt-ons.

For one who claims to understand how the suspension in an automobile works, you surprise me.

Use the 'net to find out how an automobile works, and search for bolt-ons.

Why am I even bothering? I have no issue helping people to understand their automobile better, as long as they are interested. There is nothing wrong admitting there are areas you're not clear on. Just ask!

I'm not a doctor, or an architect, so I too will ask questions of those who are qualified in those disciplines, rather than let an over-sized ego get in the way, and argue blindly.

ahh now I understand why people fall victims easily, Amazon is like Oshodi market, you pay your daily rate you shed your goods, same principle Ok!they have no quality control in Ebay or Amazon or America On line, these are the only places thes can be sold, if its sold in a physical shop in teh UK or America the seller would be in serious soup by trading standards. The western world don't allow any one to physically sell craap to its citizens so people hide on line.

Some people here amaze me. My people perish because of lack of knowledge. It is obvious that you do not understand the technology behind the product. I wonder how you passed exams and made it through school. An advert was posted online and you, just like millions of others see it. Interested people are supposed the search and enquire more about the product then reach the contact.

I want to believe that you searched further and all you understand is that ur 60k shock absorber will do better an so the product is crap and dangerous. My own understanding is that this product is attached to the coil spring and not the shock absorber. A coil spring, also known as a helical spring, is a mechanical device which is typically used to store energy and subsequently release it, to absorb shock, or to maintain a force between contacting surfaces. They are made of an elastic material formed into the shape of a helix which returns to its natural length when unloaded.

It is a part of the suspension that dampens the impact that goes to the shocks, it handles vehicle height, weight and dropping when carrying load. It manages vibration, stability and cornering on sharp turns etc. The name of the product is coil spring/shock absorber cushion buffer, it is attached to the coil spring to reduce to standard vibration, noise, body roll when cornering. It is an accessory that adds extra value to an already existing coil spring to ease the shocks stress, it strengths weak coil springs, it reduces braking distance and enhance handling. it cushions the landing force on the wheel thereby increasing tire and suspension components life. Even a brand new cars with brand new shocks will still feel different with this product.

Mind you, the coil spring as one of the first suspension systems still remains the best suspension for Bad roads. Thank you.

Re: Save Your Vehicles Shock Absorber With Shock Absorber Cushion Buffer by Nobody: 2:54pm On Mar 19, 2016
One key factor is not being addressed here, or rather it is being ignored.

What is the impact of reducing spring travel relative to a matched-length hydraulic / gas filled damper (which still has the stock length ram)?

We know the spring travel reduction WILL increase the ride height. But...the damper will now be working with limited travel. Please explain what effect this has on how the suspension of an automobile now behaves, taking into account the points I mentioned.

Of course you'll prolong the life of your shocks if you remove them from the equation and stop them from doing their job sad

This is like covering your roof with nylon and beating your chest that rain has never touched your roof.

The shocks have been removed from the equation as they wont be performing effective dampening.

I installed lowering springs on a Trans Am I had once while waiting for the matched shocks to arrive.

The stock shocks were blown out in less than 500 miles.

YOUR QUESTIONS?
Guy you fall my hand .a PH guy 4 dat matta. lipsrsealed
Check carefully in the suspension assy. What part does the damping and what part does the retaining .if you can deduct what part does what then we all would have been in same page. The easing sound that comes from your shocks got nothing to do with the spring.I also advise you read or learn a bit about shocks with no spring.

@ OP.

Buffer:
(mechanical) Anything used to maintain slack or isolate different objects.

If you insist on the using the word buffer as your keyword.

However, neither you nor any other person here arguing in favour of this product has an understanding of physics.

Trust me on these two following comments:

1) Some of us don't rely on Google for automotive education. I have been playing with cars, building cars, etc well before the advent of Google.

2) There's nothing I need to know that I will be learning from you.

Good day.

PS: Attached is just one of the cars that I restored from scratch (every single nut, bolt and screw was changed) that is featured on an international British magazine.

Everything stripped down to the last part, even the carburators were torn apart, wheel bushings, conversion from front drums to discs, all new electrical wiring harness, etc a full restore before it can ever get into this magazine.

Don't ever assume that you can teach me anything automotive.

I am not impressed by your ability to play with cars, someone else's invention, design etc. I believe you know the word INNOVATION. What you can learn from me is to be innovative (you could ve added more value to that Mini e.g air suspension) other than criticizing someone else's invention. An innovative product that has different manufacturers in America, Korea, Japan, malyasia, china, India etc with over 2 decades of existence. Do your research on the product and get back to me.
