Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Futurewiser: 12:30pm On Mar 19, 2016 |
Bandeco: Well said..... I concur that everything you said here is true to my knowledge. The minimum wage they pay us in Germany is 8.5 euro per hour which is 12.5 Canadian dollar but most companies pay more like Mercedes Benz pays 15 euro per hour to students. Audi and other auto and logistics companies like Volkswagen pays well. Student jobs are everywhere. The first place i worked in Germany was at Takko material company where i got 13 euro per hour. before i run go Benz when i hear say money dey there. 5 Likes |

Forget to add that Bachelors in Germany is 3 and half years. Some are 3 yrs. Master admission is gotten directly by Nigerians without needing to secure a supervisor. Just informing those who might be interested. is easy. to apply, just visit https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programs/en/ but remember to click tuition free schools cos some private school charge tuition so apply to only federal sch and enjoy free school fees and high standard of education. They have 2 sessions Winter and Summer. You are allowed to work and most schools also give you free ticket every semester to board train and buses so you don't need to pay for transport. Even Americans, Chinese and other people full my class. Who no like free things? This information is not for everyone.. Just want to make a common sense (Ben Bruz lol) 2 Likes |

If CIC think its expedient for them to delay online route applicants up until there bitterness for Naija apps turns into a belly laugh,no wahala. I go wait. Becos i wouldnt want our online app to be like that of paper applicants-denial for no candid reason. Its maddening. They can hold my application till god knows wen until they solve there bitterness then come back to my app because i wouldnt want anoda denial and stress of reapplying. Dollar is on the increase. I applied since 8th feb and the mail i get is thank u for your patience,my patience is filled to the brim and it's running over. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Dude, did you read my previous comments ? I didn't say Germany is bad. I said Germany isn't a piece of cake. It's not a country where they dash out admissions easily. Unless you want to end up in some small UNI. Futurewiser: |

OK. I for burst your bubble well ehm but I no go really gain anything. First off, your write-up use style confuse me. But for the sake of not wanting to derail this thread, like I stated earlier, I'll pass on this. Bandeco: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by Eruditor: 5:26pm On Mar 19, 2016 |
Dbnagato: I gave you tips I felt might help in my first post to you. 1. Use a larger SOA. Not because you need it but because the VO wants to see it. 2. In your SOP try to explain why it won't be necessary to finish your BSc in Nigeria. Maybe you can claim what you are studying now in UNIPORT is not what you really have a passion for. I said this because having your uncle over there willing to foot your bills and accomodate you may make you come across as someone who is overly dependent on someone else who is over there, which is not what the VO wants for his/her country. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by DanIndia(m): 5:34pm On Mar 19, 2016 |
Mr Futurewiser, no allow me blow your parole for here o. I remember wetin dem use your eye see for German thread that time with the other monikers for NL when you get. Interview is better to express yourself; Yes, I agree. What about the related psychological effect it has on people or the way almost everyone cram responses and vomit it in front of the VO? Abeg jare. Proof you will come back? The time you had your interview, when the VO asked you if you were planning to return after your studies, did you "express yourself better" by telling him/her that your plan is to work after studies? Una go do something, come dey talk of the opposite later. A German VO asks you difficult questions. From the Mayor of the city you live in to the population of people in that city. Even after preparing for the Interview, some people go still blow am. You wan come dey use am compare country when be say your Letter of Explanation can do the trick (although not in all cases). Both Canada and Germany are not easy. I don't agree with someone saying a country like Germany is far greater than Canada with whatever they have listed. Canada isn't a piece of cake either. And remember, another man food na another man poison. Some people dey run from Germany enter Canada because of opportunities. A 2 year degree in Canada automatically qualifies you for a 3 year PGWP and then later on to PR processing. The max you get with Germany after studies is 18 months. Though there are jobs but with the refugee invasion as of late - you'll have to hang in there. Futurewiser: 1 Like |
