HD16:Congratulations!!! Just like I mentioned earlier, the CBP's at Houston have nothing against giving birth in the states. Just ensure you pay ahead or have solid proof that you can pay your medical bills in full. Be prepared, prayerful, composed and answer questions politely when asked. Most importantly, I strongly advise you pay your bills ahead as this is foolproof. There are sometimes odd cases even when u have paid ahead but I can bet my money on it that something triggered those odd cases. However,on a safer note, choose your POE wisely. May God help us all. 4 Likes 4 Shares |

@ Those asking what hospitals I used or are accepting form A. Since the $250 dollars will be paid using Form A it amounts to 200x250= N50,000 (roughly) if I am to pay the hospital fee using PTA from stanbic @210; it will be thus: (2,700×210) If I were to pay hospital fee without the charges, it will be thus: (2,700×200) So the difference in paying hospital fees via form A and PTA is thus: (2,700×210)−(2,700×200) =27,000 If I am to remove this from the N50000 I was trying to save, I will be left with N23,000. So lets say I was to accrue a sum of N7000 as difference in charges for the higher sum, this comes to N30,000. So the next question to ask yourself is : "Since I want to go and put to bed in America, is N30000 too much for all the additional stress I will go through to be able to pay the hospital directly?" Also remember that if all bills are paid then any cash via PTA or parallel market is available for your personal use. (Kai! This is long o o) 2 Likes 1 Share |

Na wa! What a day! Leakytribe, I don't even know what to say right now to console you. Please, be strong. Where there is life, there is hope. How did you get the nanny? For some reasons, hubby and I haven't taken any nanny. We can't just trust them enough and we simply can't shout! Involve the Police. They will get her. Hope you have her photos. Publish them on both printed and electronic media. She will be found. You can go on Facebook now. Try not to draw attention to yourself but to the thief. For the lady with a tampered SSN. Please, whatever you can do to secure your son's future please do. Your so called in law didn't remember you are a family when he embarked on this fraudulent path? And to everyone who's going on this journey. Try and rent a place to stay during your sojourn to avoid stories that touch. Now, your brother in law wants you to pay for the food, water, etc you and your son consumed while in his place..arrant nonsense!!! |

I am so sorry darling. People, please let's not talk about money and stuff in the prescence of domestic staff, drivers etc. It also helps. She must have figured out that Madam would be traveling with dollars. Am seriously trying hard not to curse her, it's not a good time to put a pregnant woman on 'oh God' My sister, just take a deep breath. God will cover your losses in Jesus name. [quote author=TheLeakyTribe post=43910030]goodmorning everyone. so I'm travelling today. last week was crazy, ended up buying dollars at the black market rate. haven't been able to update on this page sef, I'm behind like 5 pages. Anyway I want to sound a warning to everyone so what happened to me won't happen to anyone else. Let's be extra careful, not after trying hard in this economy to get dollars one would now tell my kind of story. |

Google 'international airports close to Alexandria' Then when you have the town, go to the search button on top of this page and search for POE stories e.g search 'New York POE'. Good luck soletar: |

True talk, make I go check my 'small dollar's wey I don dey 'stockpile' since we found out am expecting. However, one advice on this maid issue o. I refused to take a maid initially until stress wanted to kill me but the turnover mehn! They kept leaving and were so ill-behaved. Eventually a friend advised me to stop taking them and go and get a less privileged child that I would be catering for and sending to school as those ones have a stake and they are more like family. I tried it and so far it's working. There are so many children living in villages without access to good education. Please bear in mind that you should not take the child of an extended family member cos that one too get wahala. This my small daughter now I speak with her parents and bought a landline for her in the house so I can know who is calling her as against a mobile phone. evemama: 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Girloom, I think its best if you could just change the ssn without the man knowledge. After ur call on monday depending on what you discover, change the no and carry your husband along since u are stayin with the sister. I try as much to avoid staying with family and even friends because of things like this. They might misunderstand you but u avoid had I known. |

Pls run as quickly as you can to the ssn office and report that you received it with envelope torn, and ur worried that it may have been used by someone. not mentioning anyone's name seeing as these pple are ur relatives but you still need to protect your child. Yoir child's ssn number could be used for crime or assessing loans in his name b4 long a lot of debt will be racked up in his name b4 he is old enough to sit or walk. My own 2 cents!! girlloom: |

TheLeakyTribe: Wow!!! Really sorry for the loss. God will surely come thru for u n fish her out somehow. Word of advise, try to keep helps away from your private rooms pls, it's very important. Grew up with maids around us but they never entered my parents rooms n we the children did d cleaning for them n this is what I practise in my home too. In my almost 8yrs of marriage, no help has entered my room for any reason so I believe this sold b a learning point for us all. I pray dt God will take control n redirect her back to where she will b found. Just take it easy pls. |

Hello Fam, My spouse is trying to have our baby in the US and we need info on the actual hospital costs using doctoresparati in Texas. We want to know what the average total cost is including doctors, OB Gyn, Paediatrics and hospital registration for a normal delivery. We wanna make sure we can afford it, no surprises when she arrives the US. Anyone in the house with experience with doctoresparati ? Thanks 1 Like |

Good evening family, I am in need of help, i am due to travel April, 19th and have gotten my ticket. just this evening the family am suppose to stay with at Connecticut called in that they will not be around as at my time of travel. this is because they lost a close family member in Nigeria and will be travelling for the burial as at then, i have written the embassy immediately to declare a change in location for childbirth from Connecticut to Arlington Texas, i am expecting response by Monday. My problem now is how to go about change of route, as my travel ticket is to JFK new york, i tried calling my agent but prices for ticket is now outrageous. Can someone help with the best way to go about change of route. I really do appreciate all support and advice rendered in this forum. |
