The chairman National Executive Council Arewa consultative Forum and sarduana of Kastina Alhaji Ibrahim Coomasie says the present tempo of development in the state is a clear indication that Governor Willie Obiano is a prudent manager of resources.
Alhaji Coomasie stated this when he paid a courtesy visit on governor Willie Obiano at the governor's lodge Amawbia.
According to Dr Coomasie,, Anambra has recorded series of development within the past two years expressing satisfaction with the hospitality he and his team enjoyed in Anambra.
He promised to always keep in constant touch with Governor Obiano especially in partnering the state for more development.
Receiving the Arewa consultative Forum chairman, Governor Obiano appreciated him for the visit and for finding the state hospitable.
Governor Obiano explained that they discussed areas of interest with the Sarduana of Kastina state where the two States can help each other in terms of development.
Sarduana of Kastina state who is a former inspector General of Police was honoured with an honourary doctorate degree award in Public Administration by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.

Sometimes I wish someone like W Obiano or A Adesina and the likes were the President.
We need a President in the mould of an A Lincoln or an F Roosevelt.
Nigeria has the potential to be a great country but the past and present crop of leadership and followership leave much to be desired.

Interesting times. Willie gave the signs that he is a "nationalist" and he is getting the usual reciprocity. But there are two things which he apparently want in his political carrier. They are:
1) To win a second term
2) To position himself for a future shot at the presidency.

The latter has pitched him against the majority of his electorate who wants out of Nigeria. The killing of peaceful protesters which the majority of his citizens saw him as an accomplice is troubling.

The current atmosphere in Igboland is that which does not allow a politician to vacillate between the two. It is either you are with them or you are not. Or the better altetnative; to simply shut up. Is he sure he will one day become president or vice Cos others before him did the same and didn't succeed?

What if he lose his second term, ending up neither here nor there?

Obiano should shun all advances from APC and remain focused,he's already written his name in the sands of time. I predicted this some years back that Anambra will likely become the best developed and most economically viable state in Africa. And to top it up,other SE states are towing the positive line. Good times are here again for the people of SE and their well wishers.
