My brothers why una dey criticize me like this. i no force the woman and she make decision herself and moreover i never scammed her, if i was a bad guy she wouldn't think of coming to me. she says shes happy with me and would love to meet me and so my arms are open to recieve her but i want to make somehing out of the meeting was why i asked for adivise on getting marriage visa. Yall think its that easy to get someone believe in you to the extent of travelling thousands of miles habba what if she sees marrying me as a way of helping me outta this country, so i can have a better life. why have u guys decided to be against my progress, cant u guys just see things above the ordinary that such a matured /elderly woman might just wanna be of help to me.i came to u guys for advice and what i m getting now is discouragement . some body is even mentioning immigrations should come and see. would you not prefer that a person enters the USA through such means than remain here and turn into a criminal(since you see me as a criminal). That things are good for does not mean you should put down those that are struggling to make progress in their life you dunno where i am coming from worry359: 2 Likes |

Ok Linaluv well done and good luck. Can u kindly go to the migrant visa thread since that's your end point? U can also ask the VOs on their thread... |

worry359: Sorry Linaluv, seem like you are already using your lovers name as moniker... Like the popular saying goes, age is just a number! I wish my grandma was alive I would have match made you both, but the only bad thing is that she's Nigerian so you might not need her at that age. But realistically, What is bad is BAD and irrespective of how you feel someone must and should tell you the truth. Anyway, maybe you'll learn it bitter if not at the Immigration thread mos-def at the embassy. Goodluck. |

worry359: Hey worry359, I think you are unnecessarily trying so hard to be noticed. You can pass ur 2cents to someone without necessarily sounding stupid. I have read few pages here and you keep sounding off. You don't need to insult someone to make a statement. We are all adults and should behave as one. Thank you 9 Likes |

vickero: Sorry, I had to highlight the entire message so the questioner can know he is the one referred. Just so you should know, the onus of proof rest solely on you. This case against you is a very serious allegation. I repeat, it is not something you would want to take with kid gloves. And judging from what you stated above, you have not been able to prove your case or satisfy the investigator that you had no prior knowledge regarding the two(2) individuals who were able to access your company details in securing entry visas. Be that as it may, you may be looking at a lengthy ban or worse case scenario, regarded as an accomplice to a crime (if these individuals were suspected to have been involved in identity theft in the past, or such related immigration crime previously). You see what I mean? It is best you consult an immigration lawyer to advise you on the way forward, and not leave this very serious situation as it is (nonchalantly). Your reputation and that of your company is at stake! This is the reason why it is always advised that people stay as far away as possible from using agents to fill out their U.S. visa application. Using these so called unverified agents, exposes their confidential information to fraudsters. I sincerely hope you are innocent in all these. 1 Like |

Mimiamal: Just as @LadyG stated and in addition, it is not uncommon to see situations such as yourself. When filing your DS-160, in the column regarding marital status, select "separated". And when going for your interview, go along with a consent letter from your spouse (Stating his express permission for you to travel with the child) as well as his identification document. Do not forget to take the child's birth certificate along with you and letter from her/his school that the travel is known to the school authorities. It shows that there has been a prior responsibility from parent to child. All these are necessary to stem child trafficking. Not any ones' fault |

LadyGuinivere:. If using an agent to schedule appointment, pay for visa fee and fill in the DS160 form is termed using an agent. Then I guess I used an agent. As for releasing documents to him I did not.All all did was provide him all the info i needed to fill in the DS160 form.Which includes info of me,wife, son, company name parents name etc. |

tzetzefly:. As for innocent,I am.Because it does not make sense going to renew my visa knowing fully well that some people have used my company to secure visa's and were refused entry. With that kind of knowledge any sensible person would not dare go close to an American embassy.Be that as it may,I appreciate your input its really insightful.I talked to my lawyer ,tho not an immigration lawyer. He suggested I speak with the investigator informally maybe they could furnish me with more details of this individuals.I spoke with the investigator and he suggested he would rather have the Nigerian Police write him for this info's. I have written to the force headquarters in Abuja pettitioning the said Agent and the Two individuals involved. So with this petition I asked the police SIBD to request the full details of this individuals, from address to pictures ,phone numbers ,passport numbers and all from the embassy. As I speak the letter is before the police and I am waiting for the DC to sign off on it,before it could be sent to the embassy. But u know Naija police we still waiting because its already 2weeks now.I still need more advice tho,but in the interim anybody with contacts of any genuine immigration lawyer? Maybe I need to speak to one. Cos personally as it stands I don't think I convinced the investigator enough too.Its really hard unless I apprehend this individuals. |

@vickero, it's so painful what you are going through. I just thought of this now, did you make photocopies at the embassy on the day of your interview cos those guys outside lagos embassy advised us to make copies only 2 realise that they were only trying to stylish dupe Pple into making copies not asked for by American consulate. Now I'm even scared cos I reprinted my bro's cert of naturalisation there, I pray they don't use it 4 anytn. Anyway just keep praying and don't relent on this matter. Wishing you success. 2 Likes |

@Vickero. I am a lawyer (not immigration or soliciting for ur matter o) but I can tell u that "contacting the investigator informally' is a most terrible idea. Its only in Nigeria that somebody would think of that. Its only in nigeria somebody would come up with that as a soution. This is a grievous matter and the investigaor is professional. There's already an assumption of guilt on your head which as Tze rightly said u have to remove by yourself. Now u want to go and informally meet the man and look like an underhanded person? Mbok na just add gravel to the sandsand wen de ur rice already. All your communications from hereon with the embassy should be open, professional and verifiable. Progress: so u used an agent. He must have had access to your docx. Write in to the embassy and tell them this detail and the guy's name and everything u know about this guy. Then u meet your agent and tell him that the people he used your docx to get a visa for have caused u issues and wait for his reply (record the conversation if possible) though the downside is that the guy may disappear afterwards. As for immigration lawyers, there are some in Lagos . I remember seeing them upon a google search once. U can also get the foreign ones thou they can cost! U do a phone consult and then proceed from there 2 Likes |

LadyG,Chloe,Benny and a host of other mature peeps bn here doing a good job and not insulting people. Even in the wierdest Situation. Am sure the guy that wants to marry his grandma knows his slim chances of getting a visa but you don't have to say 'thunder fire him" and a host of other rude comments he's made in the past. Udiboy: I don't think either of you read and understand anything that I write. You just see my famous name and go off shouting and ranting. I do not know if it is my masculine power or my riches that you are jealous of. I have enough wives at the moment serving my needs so I can not take you on whatever bride price you are offering. I will continue to offer factual advice to people. Just because it is not coated in sugar, and only good news, it will probably continue to irritate you.(I don't really care!) The world is not sugar sweet and some people need things stated plainly. These are not insults so grow up and face real life. But to be frank I can not be bothered with your petty bickering. |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by worry359(m): 7:26pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
yomisley: The difficulty is convincing the visa officer that you will return home after your trip. The American system presumes that you want to immigrate (so are ineligible.) Unless you give strong ties to return. Letter from employer, family and managing landed property help. As does a good healthy bank balance. Single, no job, no money are bad things. Much information here if you read back. |
