Oh really? He Oyedepo is complaining and calling PMB out? Wow! I didn't hear this man who calls himself a pastor when Boko Haram was taking our military for a read, and as a result, countless of lives were lost during Jonathan's administration.

Who even heard him complain about economic condition(s) or even the kidnap of the Chibok girls? Now he's coming here to lament.

It gives me much joy to tell this man to shut tha _fuck up! He says this because PMB is one who he doesn't support, if it was Jonathan who was still president, I believe he would have kept mute because Jonathan would have oiled his pockets very well. Nonsense!!!.

Oyedepo, you still get mouths. As a pastor, do you remember the story of Joseph in the bible. Seven fat Cow and Seven lean Cow.

Seven years of surplus and Seven years of famine. You failed to advice GEJ when you are his spiritual adviser for years to learn how to save.

By Demola Akinyemi

The Chancellor of Landmark University, Omu Aran, Kwara state, Bishop David Oyedepo, has challenged the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari to be more sensitive to issues that affect ordinary nigerians saying that things have not been working well.

Oyedepo, also the founder of Living Faith Church worldwide,a.k.a Winners Chapel further described the socio-economic challenges in the nation as those borne out of systemic failure, adding that there is no point blaming any political party or individual for the current travails Nigeria is facing .

The clergyman cum academician spoke with journalists in Omu Aran at the fifth founder's day celebration of the private university he estaablished in Omu Aran, his country home.
According to him,"Our problem is a systemic problem not political or leadership problem and we must find solution to it. Nigeria will not go down the drain, we will proffer solution to it."
"The present administration should be more sensitive to issues that affect ordinary people, because things had not been working well."

He noted that,"Where we are today is not where we should be. The effect of the forex has a lot to do with small scale industries and that is where the bulk of Nigeria employment is."

"Anybody can make mistakes but if people in the authority are not sensitive to the cry of the people, we would keep making more mistakes. My understanding is that it is never late to be right. If a decision is made and we discovered it is not right we should do an informed review." he added.

Oyedepo also said, "What am saying is that things have not been working and we are all aware of it. There is no point pointing accusing finger. Each individuals in the country also have a lot to play to recover the dignity of our nation".

He however stressed that, "The challenges have been with us for many years, it didn't just happen now. Government should be sensitive on issue that affect everybody."
"We have been fighting over the issue of power for many decades now. Government should have its priority. They should itemise the fundamentals that can move Nigeria forward and commit to it. "He added.
He noted that,"We don't have to have the resources, if we have the platform for investors to come in because they are more in touch with the issues."

"Look at the present fuel problem. It used to be black market but now we have black stations and they have the right to sell at any price because they are private marketers but the government still need to come out and take a decision on it".

Oyedepo also said, "Solution should not be only thinking, we should go beyond thinking to reasoning, logical, rational and analytical reasoning by identifying the issues and proffer possible way out of the problem.

"Nigeria problems is all about cost effective solution that will come out of sound reasoning. Remember the people in government are from us. So, we are all in government since they are not foreigners. So each one of us has a role to play. Private bodies should be allowed in all other areas of the country just like we have in the education sector. "He stressed.

He further said that,"Nigerians need to take responsibility of our challenges and find solutions to them because we have nowhere else to go. We should not sit down and cast blames."

"We have to be committed in finding the solution and stop the blame game even though government has a major role to play, each one of us also has roles to play. People will not listen to a critique but a consult who are thinking value addition taught. We learn from other nations efforts in solving problems."he added.

Bishop Abeg help him or keep silent. You wanted to help Gej. The way this man is entering politics, he may soon forget where he is coming from. Anyway, its good just that his office demands that he is silent on some issues.

You are asking for help then he and those who offer advice should shut up and keep quiet. People who advise are now all enemies of this government. The government is not doing some things well, open your ears, listen and learn. It is folks that refuse to listen that certify their doom. No leader knows it all anywhere in the world in any field of endeavour. I wish you listened to Obama's speech today to the Cuban people especially the part on what makes America and Americans.

Nigerians staked their salvation on one man. I said that was a mistake, that nations are built by people not governments, now the man is being shielded from criticism in the face of lapses. What does this signify. Go to American blogs and US based social media sites and see how every single move of Obama on every single issue is being tackled in such a manner that will make Buhari's critics kindergarten kids. But Obama says, it is what makes America, America.

All these men of God are also part of our problems. When GEJ was there, was he not one of the pastors that was close to him? couldn't he have told him part of our problems, I'm sure if he has done that and not spending or sharing our money together (Centenary quickly comes to mind) buhari will have less problems to tackle now. He was with GEJ and couldn't tell him part of Nigerians problem, rather, they preach what he(gej) wants to hear in his presence and now he is here spewing thrash.

Yes Sir, the President seems to be acting that way.
No apologies to the President's extremist supporters and promoters.

For those who have reading problems, the Bishop said:

- issues that affect the generality of the populace should be addressed immediately.

- conducive environment should be provided for both small and large scale private investments to thrive.

- all sectors of the economy should be privatised.

- no particular administration/political party should be blamed, but the system.

- Nigerians should individually and collectively seek solutions to our problems as we have no where else to go.
...
Understood?

Is that not what we have been saying for years, that Nigeria's problems were not created by one man and so cannot be solved by one man. That they are systemic and thus only restructuring will solve them. People were shouting Buhari, Buhari, corruption, corruption. Meanwhile the corruption continues unabated at all levels and the recoveries of stolen wealth has not improved the economy one bit. Facts, lazy people will deny simply because they don't want to share responsibility for nation building rather thrusting their entire future into the hands of a septugarian only interested in his legacy. Make una dey wait, no work oh. Change will fall from heaven.

papa oyedepo is right. I only wish he was as vocal during GEJ corrupt government

He was just as vocal. The problem is that expectations were different. Then people didn't listen because times were good. Now that oil is water they are angry that he is saying what they know but hate to admit. Read between the lines again and see it is an indictment on the people of this country. One salient truth I always say. Every leadership comes from the people and is a reflection of the mean values a people hold. Where two or three Nigerians are gathered there is a Buhari and Jonathan there.

YOU, "Ole'depo" did not remember all these then, its now you just woke-up from your self-induced amnesia, right?

Please go and VOMIT ALL THE YAMS YOU ATE, first, and then come back to tell us something we have nit heard before.

And why is the news caption different from the storyline?

An attempt to pit the President against the Preacher?

I thought am the only one that saw the misleading heading.

The man is right in his own views that the problem did not start today or in this present administration, so all hands have to be on deck to profer solutions to this dwindling economy.
