..and the mumu reporter went ahead to publish the story. It's obvious that Mr Achibong cooked up the story. I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the day it's proven that the employer was actually the person that assaulted the corper and injured himself in the process when the corper sought to defend himself. All these one man business don't like paying their staff. Immediately the time for remuneration comes, you see them open their eyes like Ojukwu.

For not commenting on this issue which is under investigation, I commend the corper for at least knowing his job. I would love to hear the corper's side of the story.

Nysc laws forbids a corps member from speaking to the press in cases like this without the consent of the Zi or state coordinator until the matter has been fully investigated and resolved. He would be sanctioned if he breathes a word about the case.

The boss should be arrested... he's just intimidating the young lawyer. To be honest, the corper is probably not happy cos he's been paid a token by the lawyer. It happens everywhere(I'm currently serving in IB city). Punch some 'likes' if you can't wait for the young lawyer/corper to give his own version of the fracas. cheesy

The boss saw that the young man has potentials and will be a great lawyer so, he decided to kill his career before it starts. He called the young corp to his private chambers asked for something from him, the Corper refused then, he staged everything...

as a corper, that Barr is a criminal, if you don't want a corper, the only thing to do is giving him a rejection letter and not writing what so ever to the zonal or state cordinator.....you didn't give him a rejection letter and probably decided not to sign his clearsance form this critical time that NYSC is eaten corpers alawee for a little mistake....he was lucky he didn't meet me....although the guy shouldn't have taken the laws into his hands....they know the law more than us....why would the boy even break his table...i doubt, he just want to give the corper a bad name and nothing more

I like that! they NYSC is only interested in the report coming from a corper's PPA without listening to what the corper has to say.

I said so,because I am presently experiencing the same problem in Katsina state. my PPA just rejected us for nothing. don't worry, I will soon blog it. meanwhile, I am presently waiting at a bar, for my friend who rented an apartment to come and pick me up to his own place.

Some boss can be so frustrating.I nearly strangled my LGI during my service year because if this clearance issue.You know corper and alawee issue.no clearance,no alawee.definitely if you don't sign my clearance,definitely no payment voucher(PV) signing for me which means the kind of hunger wey go murder someone for that next month still dey do press up as money don't come from anywhere anymore.that one sef reach make the gut break the boss head...those bosses can be so frustrating!!!awon were bosses...I trust NYSC.they sabi protect their corps members.nothing go happen to that guy.the worst is that they will re-post the guy go other PPA.Bleep that boss..corpers don't joke with alawee o.they can kill for alawee...
