Regardless of the outcome NLNG owes us all an explanation for this delay not just we are sorry. Even the 3 months EHs were given to resume has elapsed. Haba. At this rate they may have to backdate our salaries as is done in the state of Osun. To those “using us to do yeye” #GodWin. Does anyone know how promotions and career progression are in NLNG? Happy 3rd Easter all. #Wewait for the next quarter. Father let your will be done. 2 Likes |

Interesting read: http://www.nigerialng.com/Media-Center/Lists/Press%20Releases/DispForm.aspx?ID=11&RootFolder=%2FMedia-Center%2FLists%2FPress%20Releases&Source=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Enigerialng%2Ecom%2FMedia-Center%2FPages%2FPress-Release%2Easpx Excerpt: The Government of Nigeria currently receives over 70% of the profits from NLNG due to the additional revenues paid to the Government of Nigeria as taxes, etc, despite its shareholding being only 49%. Someone is playing smartly with figures. Lol |

The last paragraph of this media statement wants to make me like them again, the knowledge that some in the company know that industries need to be expanded to grow the nation & advising the government as such. ceetee: Regarding the growth rate in NLNG, kindly take it that you're basically retiring early. Little room for differentiation and growth, basically bodies to fill up spaces and follow laid down procedures. All the best everyone. |

ceetee: Lol @ the 3 months given EH......some people are still in the EH race and have not even been told their status. By my count the EH race is. exactly 2.5 years. The EH race was initially to be concluded before the GTs, however that may not be the case due to so many tins one could deduce from some peoples posts. By my calculation you all have seen 2.25 years of this race. Most will not be delayed past 3.0 years except another natural disaster happens like Donald Trump winning the USA presidential elections ( pray hard it's concluded before that election). But majority will see 3.5 - 4.0 years.(aka the wait listed). Usually the wait list comes with a 1.5 years period, after which if you don't hear from GNLN(spelt backwards coz even me don tire) -----then forget it. May it not be una case.. 1 Like |

First it was our election, now united states election and the outcome of it Then what? Trump wins and what happens?? (I know someone will come up with a fairly rational logic of how if he wins, so so and so will happen, which will lead to so so and so and eventually NLNG will so so and so) Seriously, is there anything in this world that doesn't affect this process/company?.. I don't like the way i feel about this thing anymore. Starts with not checking mails and here as frequently, then Eventually i guess we would all move on. This is not even a test of perseverance or patience. Nlng2014: 2 Likes |

So according to oga Babs Omotowa, the FID for NLNG back then was taken when oil was at $20 and that "with the cyclic movement of oil prices, there is no better time to invest in oil and gas projects..." my question is, does this investment include the recruitment of GTs? |
Re: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dane15: 9:31am On Mar 23, 2016 |
When you need someone badly, you will go out of your way to get the person irrespective of what Obama says or whether Trump wins or not. Maybe NLNG's need for GTs does not exceed the risk attached to all these uncertainties propping up yet. Probably, they feel they can do without GTs for the time being after all most of the 2007 recruits are still there and it is not like Train 7 has started self. If they do not notify us by Thursday, 31st March 2016, I pledge to be like Junior and choose Option B in the excerpt below. It is true, you may not like the work in which you are now engaged. There are two ways of getting out of that work. (a) One way is to take but little interest in what you are doing, aiming merely to do enough with which to "get by." Very soon you will find a way out, because the demand for your services will cease. (b) The other and better way is by making yourself so useful and efficient in what you are now doing (developing yourself, earning more certifications and improving your skill level) that you will attract the favorable attention of those who have the power to promote you into more responsible work that is more to your liking (you might even attract better companies than NLNG). It is your privilege to take your choice as to which way you will proceed. -Borrowed from N H 2 Likes |

Lol @ being like Junior. Easier said than done. Junior's case is not exacly as ours. The emotional investment most of us have made on this Nlng recruitment far outweighs that made by Junior on his uncle's promise. Bros artmedia how market? How to change the world The ninth week of SEAL training is referred to as Hell Week. It is six days of no sleep, constant physical and mental harassment and one special day at the Mud Flats. The Mud Flats are an area between San Diego and Tijuana where the water runs off and creates the Tijuana slues—a swampy patch of terrain where the mud will engulf you. It is on Wednesday of Hell Week that you paddle down to the mud flats and spend the next 15 hours trying to survive the freezing-cold mud, the howling wind and the incessant pressure from the instructors to quit. As the sun began to set that Wednesday evening, my training class, having committed some "egregious infraction of the rules" was ordered into the mud. The mud consumed each man till there was nothing visible but our heads. The instructors told us we could leave the mud if only five men would quit—just five men and we could get out of the oppressive cold. Looking around the mud flat, it was apparent that some students were about to give up. It was still over eight hours till the sun came up—eight more hours of bone-chilling cold. The chattering teeth and shivering moans of the trainees were so loud it was hard to hear anything. And then, one voice began to echo through the night—one voice raised in song. The song was terribly out of tune, but sung with great enthusiasm. One voice became two, and two became three, and before long everyone in the class was singing. We knew that if one man could rise above the misery then others could as well. The instructors threatened us with more time in the mud if we kept up the singing—but the singing persisted. And somehow, the mud seemed a little warmer, the wind a little tamer and the dawn not so far away. If I have learned anything in my time traveling the world, it is the power of hope. The power of one person—Washington, Lincoln, King, Mandela and even a young girl from Pakistan named Malala—can change the world by giving people hope. So, if you want to change the world, start singing when you're up to your neck in mud.#copied 8 Likes
