Unusual Behaviours Of Women In Labour by Nyceguy92: 12:44am On Mar 23, 2016 |
Labour time is a period of pain and anguish for women. And that is why we feel for them and try as much as possible to ease the discomfort. However, when the baby has been born, one cannot help but laugh at the drama and the things they say, though unintentionally, I went to see a lady in labour sometime ago... As I held her hand to offer words of encouragement, she asked me to ..."please carry me." I told her I couldn't do that, that it was not advisable... She threatened to slap me if I did not carry her...like a baby. Before I realised it, she reached from her bed, grabbed my shirt and pulled me violently towards her.. She tore my shirt pocket in the process. When I want to see her the following day after she had delivered, she apologised and we laughed about it. I was there when my unlce's wife was in labour for her first baby. The man had just arrived with food and supplies, but his wife refused to see him near her. With the pain of contractions driving her crazy, she winced, ruffled her hair and bit her fingers with a stern warning: "I don't want to see that man here." "He put me in this condition." In the end, we laughed about it. Hello, ladies. This is not to ridicule women. Just to acknowledge that after the pain, there is gain. What's your experience, man, woman? Let's hear them. 1 Like |

dangotesmummy: Judging by the gnashing of teeth that occurs, one can only imagine the depth of the pain the women endure. 1 Like 1 Share |

the weird thing I did was shout down the hospital. Dear God... the hospital foundation must be so strong. And beating a particular nurse so much... I had to dash her some money after I had baby... Can't believe I am pushing again in the next two months. God please make it easier this time.... Amin. 12 Likes |

When my elder sister wanted to gave birth to her first child some years back. She had to stay at the family home cuz hobby travelled out on a business trip.Unfortunately,on the day of her labour I was the only one at home had to take her to the hospital.she was screaming her lungs out at the doctors and nurses, saying all kind of incoherent words. The one that got me amused"ooh....doctor do something, why did I get pregnant ooo.I no know say na so e dey pain oo" Kudos to all mothers,it is not easy.especially the first timers. 2 Likes |

Evina: Hehehehe Funny thing was I wasn't even feeling no pain of any of those The main pain was down there I heard when a woman sleeps after pushing hard, she might likely not wake up, probably the reason she descended my cheeks with slap In the tummy thing Maybe I didn't use the right word Mumbling it in a way Like when using hand to mix flour |
Re: Unusual Behaviours Of Women In Labour by Evina(f): 8:09pm On Mar 25, 2016 |
Dyt: LOL. I like how you are making light of the whole thing. I'm sure I will slap back sha. When I was having a contraction and the doctor was asking me to move further into the bed that I'm close to the edge, I snapped at him ehn! Also, when one of the nurses wan take style ask my hubby to leave when the hour came, nobody told her before she focus on her work. LOL |

Evina: Woosh... I am having goose pimples again. The way the women lie on the edge of the bed really scares me. You would think they are going to fall off the next second... And they don't seem to care/mind. The pain is primary business and anything that makes it less is welcome. |
