Oga you are a first timer. Your wife is not mad. Her body is undergoing changes that even she is not having full grasp of. You need to man up and support her at this moment. You need to love her much more and learn to see things from her side, not your side only as you seem to be doing. You can win her respect and love by the way you handle her now.

Look forward to fun moments with the baby (whom I think is a girl...thank me later) and pet her much more. The one way you can make your wife give you more space is to indulge her to the excess. Pet her more, and love her more. When she is relaxed, she will have less of your time. But when she is feeling funny and you appear to be jiving, you are in trouble. Am speaking as the husband of a pregnant wife expecting his second child. A word is enough for wise.

I was lucky though didn't have any weird feeling during my pregnancies, only experience i had was uncontrollable craving to chew paper.
I once borrowed a new novel from a friend and ate a whole page.
I looked for the empty sheet at the back of the novel and virtually ate all of that page before I was thru with the book .
Apart from that i was normal and healthy as a horse.

My own was jollof rice nt ordinary jollof BT party jollof rice if I see any party I will go dere & beg rice dere was a day I went 4 scan me & my husband bro wife who was also pregnant we saw a party going on close 2 d place we went dere & begged dem 4 rice I told d woman serving nt 2 put meat DAT we need only d rice we crashed so many parties den.if my is going 2 party I use 2 beg him 2 help me bring rice I also love kerosene dere was a day I drank some kerosene pregnancy is nt funny I can't eat wat I prepared by myself. Pls just be patient with ur wife,mine was crying,if our pastor preaches about salvation I cry,if I watch movies I cry,if I call and u don't pick I cry,we complained to the doctor because of this and I was also crying instead of complaining. No food craving, no nausea. Nothing just crying.if my husband comes home late he will meet me almost fainting from crying. I cried for crying always. D day I lost d baby not even one tear. So bear with her

One pregnant woman started craving food she ate in her school days like 9 years ago. One liked to rub her hand on goat poo, wash her hands and perceive it all day long. One wanted ice cream at 3am and u must get it o. Just bear its 100% normal, u need to see what women go through to give birth. To per na problem, to poo problem, to baff na waya especially if na through CS. Your eye never see! Please do ur best and stay with her. Its your child that is making her behave that way. take it as part of d cost u must pay, you are carrying d pregnancy burden together. Soon all will b beautiful. OP like seriously, what were you expecting us to tell you? Don't you know that she feels funny almost all the time? Are you not aware of the change of hormones in her system? Just be more tolerant biko and stop being inconsiderate. Imagine yourself carrying an extra person on your person and one who is still in the process of being formed. His hormones are always changing and affecting yours too.

He came back with pear and was feeling like a caring husband. I saw red! I was so angry ehn that I didn't know when I flung the pears on the bed and burst into tears.

I had been feeling horrible the whole day and only the thoughts of the suya kept me sane, now I was seeing pear? My hubby just stood staring at me as I wailed and had this look of "is it suya that is making this one cry". He stormed out in anger and came back with the suya which he placed quietly before me.

I didn't even look at his face. I just served his food and pounced on the suya like it was manna from heaven.

it's no joke oh, I use to sniff dusting powder like a drug addict, just like those peeps that sniff cocaine, when I couldn't bear it anymore, I will start licking them with mouth, never had appetite for anything,though sometimes I will wake up at midnight to go prepare abacha. Didn't gain much weight either. I was simply not eating.

, it's hard to go back to pre- preggers weight, cos even if you did gain weight during your pregnancy, you will gain breast feeding, forget that shit, breastfeeding don't help in anyway in weight reductions, your body will keep storing fats and nutrient to produce breast milk. But it goes away gradually when you stop. Just don't expect you to be you before pregger
