Now from my observation, it was the mother that was telling d daugher her life experience, but how come something that happened in her absent is being refered to in her story? Please try and carefully take note of this errors. If u want to tell the story. Then you shouldnt be making referals. Once again i appreciate u for always bringing me to literature session.

thirty minutes later, Maggie arrived. looking stressed, her mouth opened when she saw her friend with her little bundle.

the woman returned her smile and looked away, her eyes weak and swollen.

Someone walked in, a huge man with a big stomach.

he walked towards the women.

the woman with the baby sat on the small bed beside her.

He came closer to them and asked a question in igbo.

she nodded.

"its a boy, she said.

the man jumped up and and hugged the woman who apparently was his wife.

he began singing out loud.


"my God is a miracle God, he has put my enemies to shame, i said it, my pastor have defeated the wicked spirit of girl child in my life and given me a boy".

his wife smiled shyly and asked if they could go, she looked uneasy and a bit tensed.

they left after he paid her bill.

she was carried away, until baby tiny voice shrilled.

she picked her brea.st and inserted it in her baby's when she noticed the woman coming inside.

she came to her, her eyes weaker and her smile subtle.

" your baby is so cute, i have offset your medical bill by the way".

she was amazed by the lady act of kindness and didnt know how to show her gratitude.

At that moment, she knew what her baby's name would be.

but her future looked bleak.
As Maggie stood I silence.

I think from the beginning of the story, the step brother that was molesting her died of HIV so she herself probably would have been infected... Maybe

Its either you did not follow the story from the beginning or you have problem comprehending what you read.The molester was the third child (not too sure) but definitely not the first born, gerrit
