It is known that if you divide element of the same identity u get one(1) except wen divided by 0...Thus, a/a=1,1/1=1 but a/0=undefine or infinite nd 0/0=undefine or infinite. What will be the value of infinite/infinite?? Also proof ur ansa cos no answer is perfectly correct unless it is backed up with proof-==>DEBO<== |

you cannot do 0/0 and infinity/infinity directly - you have to take limits: The limit as a tends to zero of a/a = 1. Likewise the limit as a tends to infinity of a/a =1. That's the best anyone can do. |

If infinity=a/0. For a=1,2,3,4,...
Then infinity/infinity = (a/0)/(a/0)
= (a/0)*(0/a)= (a*0)/(a*0)=0/0= undefined(indeterminate?) |

Deboxoxo: Infinity is a concept and an idea. It's no necessary a number per say. If you're working with very small numbers like 10^-100, even real number 1 can be used as infinity in this case. You'll understand it better if you see infinity as an idea not a particular number So infinity/infinity is indeterminate 1 Like |
