My local government chairman has signed my form and has given other documents except a copy of his international passport or drivers license. He blatantly refused to release it to me.
However, there's a govt secondary school principal that's willing to give me all that I need. Do I free the chairman and go for the principal?
pls where is it stated that we need a copy of the driver license of our local govt chairman..? Pls which other documents do I need. pls shed more light on the documents need and the drivers license. thanks alot

Sir, read section 8 of the requirements for application on the website. The relevant excerpts are bolded below:

Attestation Forms: Applicant's attestation form must be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicant and not below the rank of Squadron Leader or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant CP and above. Local Governments Chairmen/Secretaries, magistrates and principals of government Secondary Schools from applicants' state of origin can also sign the attestation forms. The signees passport photograph and either photocopy of drivers licence or international passport must be attached. In addition, applicants are to bring with them a letter of attestation of good character from any of the officers above to the Zonal Recruitment Centers and final selection interview.

Good day House, Please I need your help
1. Letter of Attestation of Good Character, who should it be addressed to? Also to the requirement of who can sign it, should be person necessarily be from my local government of origin or just from my state of origin?
2 Certificate of Indigeneship, can i use the one issued from my local government of origin or do i need to get another from the state government?
3. Certificate of full registration from professional body-- As a lawyer, is my certificate of call to bar sufficient or do i need to get any from Nigerian Bar Association.

Please if you know any officer who will be willing to sign the attestation form let me know, I'm from Ogun State.

Also if you have past questions please do share with me or send to my email address daryourd1@yahoo.com

I stated earlier on that in the past people have either addressed it to the commandant of the base, the officer in charge of the enlistment, and some people just went with a 'To whom it may concern '. I would rather go with that of the officer in charge.
You don't need the signee to be from your LGA, just same state. Your LGA indiegiene cert is OK.
As a Lawyer you should know if the letter for being called to Bar is different from membership, if it is automatic as you have received that letter then you are good to go. Find out from fellow lawyers if your are not sure.

Talking about certificate of registration with professional organization, it's not applicable to every discipline. But for an Engineer yes it is. U need to register with NSE, but COREN will be more of Advantage though I understand that joining COREN is not child's play but u need to register with NSE.

In addition to what Mimzy said, the moment u are called to Bar u automatically becomes a member of NBA by default, what u do subsequently is payment of dues.
Apart from the state laison offices in Lagos and Abuja, only ur Local government can issue u state of Origin certificate or certificate of indigenship Abi whatever name it's called and that's what u have.
On the attestation of good character, I think I prefer "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN".
This is because with this heading u can make use of same as required for different purposes since it was not emphatically stated that it should be addressed. That's my opinion on that.

What if you just graduated and haven't met the 4-year-work-experience required to register with NSE?

I'd like to ask if the last Naf dssc recruitment exercise required for engineers to be registered with their professional bodies cause i am a Hnd holder(fresh graduate Electrical ) and the requirements for Nse or coren is not in my reach

and secondly. section 8 of the requirements states that
'Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.'

so don't know if it applys to EE graduates too

You can join NSE as a Graduate Member. You can only become a Corporate Member after 4/5 years of graduation and from there be registered with COREN as an engineer.

But I believe this recruitment doesn't require corporate membership of NSE or that of COREN. hope this helps

My thought too,...how much and rank......any idea
As a kiss pilot officer your take home should be 150k after then u'd be promoted to the rank of Flying officer that's an increment of 130k - ur food, furniture, uniform, air allowance etc from there u fly to d rank of Flight lieutenant also an increment of 30k but from the rank of a Wing commander u r a big boy.
