my question is people that signed there attestation forms at liaison office who were neither given the officers passport goto and copies of drivers license / Intl passport.... what happens to them....

When you go for the Zonal enlistment if they have your time they will ask you why you decided not to present what you were asked to, however most won't bother and you will assume you have gotten away with it meanwhile just as they put in writing the details of your documents they will also put down what you don't have or didn't present.

please i know my question might sound a little off but. is dssc form the same with ssc form ? or do they come out at different times. ..?

When you talk of SSC its strictly for the army, they are the only arm of the Tri service that has both options for graduates to join,DSSC and SSC ( short Service combatant) and both application processes usually start and end at the same time when the army is ready.

If you don't want to keep wondering what the outcome will be, get all they required. Better safe than sorry.

Not necessarily but should be one of the category of people listed

That's not what is on their site, most people assume commission as it is so with DSSC. Unfortunately the site is down for now, anyway that one is minor.

Mimzy is right and her explanation is on point. It's Combatant and not commission. SSC is short service Combatant while DSSC is Direct short service commission. SSC is mainly for the NA and train in NDA for 9months passing out with the regular 5th tamars.

Nope! Its not the same as a DSSC DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION. wyl the SSC SHORT SERVICE COMBATANT these officers do their passing out after 9months of rigorous training yl the DSSC officers runs theirs just for 6months. The difference is as a DSSC officer it is expected of u to be a professional I.e u MUST belong to a professional body of ur course of student and u graduate with 2stars Lieutenant yl the SSC is always an infantry who deals with rifles and grenade's ammunition. 1star (2nd lieutenant) at times u might be a future general because of the courses you will be attending. After all these then you will be commissioned as an officer. *Come to Shaun*

In is an all inclusive "practice". You will be involved in all you have mentioned above depending on where you are posted. If you are posted to the clinic of say a Brigade/ Regiment in Ogun state, it means you will av to run the Military Clinic/ Hospital ( depending on its size) like any other gov hosp or PP. And if on the other hand your posting takes you to a "peaceful" area like Borno,Yobe or Adamawa, then your activites wil involve battle field medical support and medical logistics, running military base medical outpost, and sometimes as part of the rescue team in cases of heavy casualities during cross fires. Bros your are practically a soldier whether you are a doctor r an accountant. N.B. Postings are ever Changing. Welcome to the military bro. Will like to know you better.

Nice, Combat support. I was scared one would just be restricted to office and wards. One would get to practice in the high adrenaline conditions, bullets flying, mortars exploding, blood pumping...

Hmm.. Im afraid you have applied wrongly, the Airmen/Airwomen application process ended on the 25th.
To those who wish to apply for the DSSC and are busy observing here instead of heading to the site, it's OK to take your time to register but it is also OK to finish up in time and concentrate on other things. Believe it or not some people still don't know the process is on, if you know people who would be interested in joining trying spreading the word just in case they havent heard. There isnt much time left.
