I finally googled the product, but it's surprising I didn't find a single review warning against the product because it's dangerous.
One guy said it only lasted 6 months, however there seems to be more positive reviews than negative ones..

I for one will definitely not use the product, but if some people used the product and feels it helps, why shouldn't he market it? I can see reviews on the Internet of people in the US and UK with good reviews of the product.. I'm sure both government wouldn't allow it sale if it was dangerous.

The product is sold on amazon and ebay I'm sure they wouldn't sell on both portal if it was dangerous. I for one will be worried if it was only available on aliexpress and alibaba.

I also do understand why the guy resorted to insults, he was trying to make a living for himself and 2 automobile experts came firing on all cylinders, he didn't have the technical know how to fight back, so he used his teeth.

There is a difference between normal spring cushion inserts & the one I am thinking of.

Usually spring inserts do not have holes. Refer Spring Assisters By Grayston Engineering Ltd made in UK

These rubber spacers are purely made to not allow the coil spring compress further especially while carrying heavy loads in the rear

The below transparent urethane design has on the sides egg shaped holes to allow the cushion to flex with the coil springs adding to comfort & stability. The material - urethane is also uniquely designed to be durable & absorb shocks.

In the beginning of this thread, I DID mention these assisters are used on the rear of vehicles for TOWING. At the rear, my man. I know all about springassistersuk. You are marketing these products as a permanent solution to reduce suspension travel ALL ROUND. Which is not the purpose they were designed for. They are NOT a solution for worn dampers, or sagging springs.

I have not seen these for years, mainly because there are real heavy duty springs with matched dampers. You can't alter the length of a spring, and expect the damper (which is longer) to work.

Another thing...check on VOSA's website. Vehicles WILL fail an MOT if they are presented for testing with ANY restrictors between the coil springs that were not on the car when it left the factory, simple. Quit acting like a morön.

If you have one of these in your car and you had an accident ie swerve off rod and end up i n a dish or something,your insurance will never PAY OUT.and if you cause lose of property and death in the process you are in deep TROUBLE.
Im sure by now you would see the angle we are all coming from.Thier stand would be you have modified your vehicle in a way not in accordance with any manufacturer's standard,hope you understand.

NB, the manufacturers in the UK made a specific note about what type of vehicles this is used for and its for rear suspensions
