@frankico. Oya sit and write your points from what I sent you... Post whatever you write and gurus will look at it. Remember to add your points o nMechanical engineering is one of the broadest and oldest branches of engineering. Mechanical engineers are involved with the design, analysis, testing, manufacturing, control, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems - that is, any system that has a moving part Mechanical engineering is at the forefront of developing new technologies for a number of industries including transport, healthcare, construction, and robotics. What an exciting time to be alive and what an exciting time to be a mechanical engineer As a Mechanical Engineer you will play an instrumental role in the design and manufacture of items that impact on modern living and our everyday lives. Whether it’s household goods, sports equipment, reliable cars and transport systems. Mechanical Engineers play a key role in the development of new technologies, which often have to operate dependably in difficult environments: from life-enhancing medical implants and robots for volcanic exploration to large-scale projects such as the International Space Station 1 Like |

youngmoney416: I don't think anyone can really comment on your chances on getting a visa. I think the most important things are communicating effectively to prove that you are a genuine student and that you have home times. I'd advice you to be careful about mentioning you want to work while studying. I don't know if it's legal. |

dramaka: Mississippi State University. After deducting the funding obtained, I am in a credit position. So technically I'm not paying anything from my personal funds. |

juliuslongman: It's the same regular process for normal admission. Roughly, Thoroughly research schools and their requirements Get your list of schools and begin your application Write GRE n TOEFL and submit scores Submit transcripts and LORs Submit SOP showing your motivation Submit any other docs required e.g CV, publications, etc. Some schools might ask you to contact potential supervisors and get their consent before applying. Though this is more common in Canada. Analytical chemistry is good. Depending on your profile and more importantly, your desire for success, you can definitely get a fully funded offer from a lot of schools. 1 Like |

ahahnow: I've been getting conflicting reports on this. Seems some schools will still prefer you to submit bank statements. Though this doesn't make sense to me. |
