Before I gave birth I use to wonder how it feels for a baby to suckle? Does it give the same arousal as when DH is at it? Taaa! No where near it at all! My nippul as gone numb, unfortunately before baby came that was where my center of gravity was at! One touch and am ready to kpekus, Now DH will suck and suck hoping to start the engine for where? All I will be thinking of was please don't finish the milk for my son lolz

For me, first trimester was so bad for me libido wise. I was always so dry yet DH was just using me every day cos of the harmattan. There were days I was walking like someone who was badly raped cos of the over dryness I had while he was on it. Now in 2nd trimester, libido has improved but not much in good terms with DH so i no dey too send am....it's like once in 2weeks at most. I get aroused rubbing my nipples. Wishing I got more of the sex now my body is favoring it kinda....
I sometimes crave some deep and fast thrusting. ...
I hope the libido remains that way sha.....

I understand your pain cos I have a friend who is in a similar situation. She just doesn t look forward to any thing sex cos no pleasure. She was circumcised too. God has comforted you by giving you an understanding and patient husband....It is well with you and your family.

My birth story, it is long Sha.
Edd was 18 March but dating scan gave me 5 March. So I made up my mind that I will deliver on 5th because 18th is too far. All through my pregnancy period, I didn't meet with the main doctor, I was only seeing other doctors cos to meet with him is like waiting to see the president.
So on 5th of March after a heavy rainfall on the 4th that made me to have a good night rest. I decided to go see the doctor tho it was Saturday but we were told once u reach nine months, u can go to the delivery ward to see him when he comes to check those in labour. I wasn't feeling anything, no contractions, no breaking of water, no mucus, but I decided to go anyways just for him to see me.
When he came, he said madam it's time oo, he inserted a tablet in my vjay and I was placed on drip, he told me to call home so they can bring my bag. All that Saturday, I started feeling small small contractions but was sleeping all through.
On Sunday morning, I lost my mucus, when the doctor came by 11am,he ruptured my water, then I started contracting but it was not strong. Around 12 noon, the drip I was placed on finished and they placed me on another drip. That was when the real thing started, when it comes, I will breathe with my mouth, by one 1pm,I wanted to pee but could not, I went to the nurses and told them, they used catheter and brought it out but I was still feeling the urge to pee. They checked me and said I was only 2 to 3cm dilated. By 2:30pm, the urge to pee was much stronger, I went to them and told them to bring the urine out because the pee have refused to come out its own. Immediately I stood up from my bed, I started feeling the urge to poop. I started pushing on my own, the nurses started shouting madam it's not yet time, if u break your womb, u will be taking to the theater, me I wasn't even listening to what they were saying, they used catheter again to bring out the urine. Immediately, I pushed and my ds came out weighing 3.5. They were not even ready. The nurse that checked me said this one na divine speed. A woman I checked by 1pm that was not up to 3cm and the baby's head was still up delivering by 2:30pm,that it can only be God.. All in All, I thank God

As for me, my libido is normal. I usu resume ard 6 weeks postpartum.
But some days stress of work, house chores n kids will make go libidoless ;DD

Estyble,triple congratulations dear and welcome to this thread! You will carry to term and deliver safely. For the sugar level, work closely with your physician. I'm sure your Ob/gyn has referred one to you. Ignore all the 'suggestions' by people. Multiple pregnancies are classified high risk and given close monitoring! There is lady in my other thread; she had triplets too and can help with tips. Search for 'Nogen'. God bless and keep you and your babies

I actually went thru previous posts here and on the Newborn thread to see if anyone has experienced it. I saw that bm worked for most and I tried it. The discharge no longer glued her eyes shut but it was still much and yellow.
I'd already googled ( trust me nah) and saw that it could be blocked tear ducts, bacterial or viral infection.
By 7pm when I saw that the discharge didnt stop nor reduce, we set off for Gbaja and by 8pm we were back home (Govt hospital o!!! Dem deserve award abeg).
It was bacterial conjunctivitis.
The Paed said they have had several cases of it of recent and that some serious ones were even in isolation upstairs. She prescribed some ointment and eye drops and said we should watch it for a week.

My baby is having milky discharge in his eyes too. It started 3days ago,its much wen he woke up from sleep. Don't knw wat it is. Wil take him 2 hospital 2mor 4 examination.

When i was ttc na so i go dey follow dh for back dey waka about dey shout'honey come and do na am ovulating' but fast forward to present,i hardly have time for it.i would wake up Hot then would remember the stress of hanging my leg with my big belle i would just disappear from the room before he wakes up.he has been very understand ing.the one that happened on monday that made me to start partcipating was when he tried bribing me with money for him to do just one round,it really touched me because i realized that i have been very selfish (i still collect money buy easter cloth).i think my libido is okay the only thing i dread is the discomfort that comes with it.

I was blaming it on dh, saying he doesn't stimulate me well, he s usu fast bla bla bla. Bt as I don born finish, d thing still no rise o. Meanwhile, his own has doubled eh, d guy can want d thing every minute. Well I still oblige him, but wt 2 kids plus house chores I m usu tired by d end of d day. On the libido issue ,mine has been very normal as single n as married.
i only had low libido 3rd trimester n i resume back 8wks post delivery. Just lik goldmine said,stress n family has a way of makin women forget dey need sex.

I guess am one of d lucky ones cos dh can do house work lik kilode n am always hvin one or two ppl at home to help.another tin dat help is dh nature of work,am sure of 4wks rest n d absence makes me crave more n d constant chat.
Mayb cos am just havin one baby so we tak her along to cinema datz if der is no one around to leave her wit.


I guess if 2nd baby comes in it might be diff sha.

Since my mummy has missed threadcuties this yr i have decided to come see my mothers today n wish them happy easter.

Was delivered of a BB on 18th of this month.

Make i no owe BS as i owed birth announcement.

Due to my past history, was scheduled for an elective cs on the said date. Checked in at the hospital a day before for prepping etc.

When the time for surgery came and i was wheeled into the theatre, i was administered spinal anaesthetic and the operation began only for me to begin to feel each cut; an experience i didn't have with my previous one. It became obvious that the spinal failed and the General one was administered to me. Off i went for several hours, not getting to enjoy the process of having my BB out.

All in all after several days at the hospital, I give God the glory for the miraculous gift of my son. May He perfect all He has started in our lives. #mother, baby, father, sibling alive.

Here is wishing all waddling mamas safe delivery. May good tidings always be our portion.
