Govt okays 40,000 fans to cheer Egypt to victory over Nigeria

Egypt’s interior ministry has announced it will now allow 40,000 fans into the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria to cheer the home team to victory against Nigeria in an AFCON qualifier on Tuesday night.

Egypt have observed a crowd ban since February 2012 when 72 fans died at the Port Said Stadium during a league match.

The government initially approved for 10,000 fans for the crucial AFCON match, before they added 5,000 more fans and they have now agreed for 40,000 fans to watch the game, according to Ahram newspaper.

Local interest in the game has been overwhelming with thousands of fans lining up for hours to buy match tickets.

The first match in the northern Nigerian town of Kaduna ended in a dramatic 1-1 draw on Friday.
Following the shock withdrawal of Chad, Egypt remain on top of the group with four points, Nigeria are second on two points and Tanzania are on a point.

Only the overall winners of this group will now qualify for Gabon 2017.

Ambrose concentration has always been suspect in most of his games whether home or abroad. Amusie makes better use of the ball to me than Echiejile at leftback but he needs to watch closely who he his marking. And Oboabona needs to cover more because of Salah & in case they lost possession. Mikel needs to pay attention defensively. And on Ighalo, he has always been poor aerially. I will rather have Adi or Samuel. The Egyptian centre backs are tall and strong. They beat him to all the aeriel duels when we kept loading high balls and he needs to move into space quickly. He has never been my choice striker for Eagles anyday. Etebor plays better to me than Onazi. He his more skillful, faster and makes better use of the ball and off the ball.

NIGERIA DEPART FOR EGYPT EXPECTING
NOTHING BUT VICTORY

The Super Eagles had their final training at the
Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Sunday night ahead of
Tuesday’s game against the Pharaohs.

COMMENT By Lolade Adewuyi

It was the night when things began to take shape. The boys worked hard for three straight hours to perfect moves for Tuesday’s crunch Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Alexandria.

The Super Eagles have learnt their lessons the hard
way. They were less than three minutes from a
famous victory over seven-time African champions
Egypt, but a momentary lapse in concentration saw
them fritter away important points and settle for a
draw.

On Sunday evening with floodlights, they worked to
correct all the errors. After reviewing the game’s
video earlier in the day, the coach and his boys knew
there was a lot to fix.

Samson Siasia, trying his best not to look overwhelmed with the task ahead, ensured the
players knew what was at stake. There was match
play simulation, free kicks were practiced, corner
kicks were perfected.

Everyone took turns in hitting the round leather ball
over or around the four-man shield to find the team’s best free-kick taker.

Starting with corner kicks in the defensive position,
they switched to offensive play as heads jostled to
connect with the ball and nod it past the goalkeeper.

The Eagles worked tirelessly, they shed sweat and
looked ready to spill blood in order to impress the
coach whose keen eye kept roving for his best legs
for the battle of Alexandria.

Not many cities in the world have seen the number of battles over ownership that the city of Alexandria has witnessed. From its conquering by the great
Macedonian king (the great king-warrior, Alexander the Great) whose name it now proudly bears through to the Roman sieges, the Muslim conquest
and the French revolutionary wars, that city has
withstood bombardments and stands an ornament of pride and history.

While football is not a life and death battle like an
Egyptian journalist wanted this writer to believe last
week, the Eagles face an enormous task to dislodge
the Pharaohs and snatch unlikely victory in their
courtyard, the massive 86,000-seater Borg el Arab
Stadium.

Even though the bulk of the stadium would be empty due to a limit placed on fans attending live matches, it would still be an intimidating edifice.

The Pharaohs have played four games in the facility since 2015 and won all.

However, Egyptian football is not what it used to be in the 2000s when the Pharaohs won three straight
African titles. Since the revolution brought about by
the Arab Spring of 2011, Egypt has failed to qualify
for any major senior tournament.

After dinner at the African Continental Hotel in
Kaduna on Saturday night, Super Eagles captain John
Obi Mikel cast his mind back over the team’s failure
to keep their lead.

“We didn’t want to lose, we didn’t want to be stupid
and then go all out in attack and concede a goal in
the first 15 minutes, then it would have made it more difficult for us,” Mikel told Goal.

“It was a little bit cagey so we decided to sit back a
little and still have control of the game but not to be
stupid with the way we attacked.

“All we wanted was to get the three points, all we
needed was one goal. In the second half we decided
to go for it and then we started playing well.

“We stepped it up a bit more and then started to
create chances and then we scored. The guys started to feel a bit more confident and it was good.

“But it was unfortunate to concede the way we
conceded,” he said.

Mohamed Salah cancelled out Oghenekaro Etebo’s
goal late in the game to deny the teeming crowd
inside the stadium sweet victory.

Things got complicated when news filtered in on
Sunday afternoon that Chad had withdrawn from the
qualifiers, leaving Group G with only three teams and the tough realization that only one team would
qualify to play at Gabon 2017.

On the field later in the evening, Siasia’s men worked hard to banish the memory of that late lapse and correct their mistakes.

As the night wore on and the pressing fans got closer to the pitch, the Eagles began to feel that their work was getting done.

This is the best training we’ve had since camp
opened,” said Tofe Towobola, the team’s trusted video analyst.

We’re going to Alexandria to pull a surprise,” insisted Toyin Ibitoye, the team’s media officer.

As the Eagles concluded their three-hour practice
under the brilliant floodlights that lit up the Kaduna
night, the fans applauded them for putting in the
extra effort.

A pat on the back here, a quick photo with the fans
there, the Eagles made their way into the team bus
and back to the hotel.

On Monday, they head to Abuja and then hop on a
chartered flight to Alexandria to conquer that ancient city like many warriors before them.

It is what their countrymen expect, nothing but
victory.

P.S: The Super Eagles were supposed to depart by 9.30am for Egypt but were delayed for about 2hours to clear the airspace (I.e. Get an airspace clearance) according to reports. Godspeed Eagles.

Nigeria's Super Eagles have landed in Egypt

Eagles forward Alex Iwobi

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have landed in Alexandria after a six-hour flight ahead of Tuesday’s AFCON rematch against Egypt.

The team’s departure from Abuja on a chartered flight was delayed by two hours as they sought clearance to fly over Sudan.

England-based goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was the only player who did not make the flight as he has returned to his club after he was ruled out of the match due to a stomach problem.

Reports have it that hundreds of the country’s supporters were denied entry visas and so could not make the trip to cheer the Eagles to victory in a must-win game.

Owner of Nigeria league club FC IfeanyiUbah is believed to have helped out cash-strapped Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to secure a chartered flight for this trip.

Egypt lead Group G, which has now been reduced to three teams following the withdrawal of Chad, with four points with Nigeria still two points behind on two points.

Tanzania are now bottom of the standings on a point.
Former NFF president Aminu Maigari and some members of the House of Representatives committee on sports are among those who made the trip.

Ikeme returns to England, Eagles flight delayed for 2 hours

Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme back to England

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme did not travel with the rest of the Super Eagles squad to Egypt as the team’s chartered flight was delayed for more than two hours so as to get an airspace clearance.

On Sunday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced Ikeme was suffering from a stomach upset which stopped him from training and as such he has been ruled out of Tuesday’s AFCON rematch against Egypt in Alexandria.

Ikeme has been Eagles first-choice goalkeeper since September after Lille star Vincent Enyeama retired from international football after a major falling out with former coach Sunday Oliseh.

South Africa-based Daniel Akpeyi is now expected to be between the posts on Tuesday with Sunshine Stars shot stopper Ikechukwu Ezenwa his cover.

In the meantime, the Eagles departure to Egypt was held back for almost two hours as the chartered Arik Air flight sought clearance to fly across the air space of Sudan.

The Eagles are expected to have a feel of the pitch at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria later today.

Siasia still bullish of Nigeria's chances against Egypt

Nigeria skipper Mikel Obi

Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has said he still believes his team can win in Egypt on Tuesday night to get their AFCON 2017 campaign back on track after they were forced to a 1-1 draw at home in the first game.

Nigeria have their backs against the wall even more after Chad pulled out of the AFCON qualifiers citing financial constraints as only one team could only qualify for Gabon 2017 from this three-team group with Egypt in pole position two points clear at the top of the standings

“We can still make the difference in Egypt,” said a confident Samson Siasia, who has been appointed in temporary charge of the Super Eagles last month after the shock resignation of Sunday Oliseh.
“We have to encourage the boys so that they could play for Nigeria.”

Turkey-based forward Umar Aminu made his full international debut for the Eagles as a second half substitute and he said Egypt were lucky to get a draw in Kaduna.

“We’re going to Egypt to win. They were lucky to get an equaliser (in the first match), but we have learnt from this experience,” he said.

The Eagles departed Abuja Monday morning for Alexandria on a chartered flight.

NFF, police trade blames over Kaduna overcrowding

Nigeria fans jam the TV platform at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Friday

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the country’s police have traded blames over the overcrowding at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna during an AFCON clash against Egypt, which could now earn the wrath of CAF.

More than 40,000 spectators crammed into the 25,000-capacityAhmadu Bello Stadium with some of them perched on television platforms, the scoreboard and on the athletics track of the arena.

Nigerian police chief Solomon Arase said the NFF ought to have placed a restriction on the fans in the form of a gate fee rather than throw the gates open.

However, NFF general secretary Mohamed Sanusi said crowd control was for host Kaduna State Government and the police.

“We did everything, we played our role but we have no control over the crowd. NFF is not a security agency; we can’t go and mount the gate,” he defended.

“We are not responsible for security in Kaduna State. It is the responsibility of the state government and the corresponding security operatives.”

1/7: Super Eagles Have Struggled Vs North Africans Away

The Super Eagles missed the chance to go top of group G after drawing 1-1 against Egypt, in the qualifiers for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

To avoid missing out on a place in Gabon next year, the Eagles must get a positive result in the reverse fixture against Egypt in Alexandria on Tuesday.

Ahead of the crucial tie, Comple tesportsnigeria.com’s JAMES AGBEREBI takes a look at how the Eagles have fared in their last seven away clashes against North African opponents in qualifying matches…

TUNISIA 0-0 NIGERIA (2009, W/CUP QUALIFIER)
Just like in the present scenario with Egypt, the Super Eagles were trailing Tunisia by two points prior to their double header in the race to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Tunisia had six points from two games, while the Eagles had four points from the same number of games played. Also in their group were Mozambique and Kenya.

When both teams met in Tunis, in the first leg of their double header, the Eagles forced Tunisia to a 0-0 draw.

Despite playing 2-2 in the reverse fixture in Abuja, the Eagles still went on to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

ALGERIA 2-5 NIGERIA (2005, W/CUP QUALIFIER)
After playing a 1-1 draw against Angola in Kano, the Eagles needed to beat Algeria away in the fifth round of games of the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to remain in the race.

Goals from Obafemi Martins (brace), Yusuf Ayila, Christian Obodo and John Utaka, gave the Eagles an emphatic 5-2 win against Algeria.

Unfortunately, Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup after being knocked out on head-to-head by Angola.

ALGERIA 1-1 NIGERIA (1993, W/CUP QUALIFIER)
The Eagles needed to avoid defeat against Algeria away, in a make or mar clash to qualify for their first ever World Cup.

They eventually secured the ticket, edging out Cote d’Ivoire, after playing 1-1 against Algeria in their last group game.

Finidi George gave the Eagles a first half lead before the Algerians leveled up to end the game all square.

ALGERIA 1-0 NIGERIA (1st Leg 1988, OLYMPIC QUALIFIER)
In the final round of the 1988 Seoul Olympic qualifiers, the Eagles were paired against Algeria in a two-legged tie.

The first leg of the encounter was played in Annaba with Algeria triumphing by 1-0.

The Eagles eventually secured qualification for the Olympic Games after winning the return leg 2-0.

TUNISIA 2-0 NIGERIA (2nd leg 1985, W/CUP QUALIFIER)
Tunisia were drawn to face Nigeria in the third round of the Mexico 1986 World Cup qualifier.

In the first leg played at the National Stadium, Lagos, the Eagles could only manage a 1-0 win.

But in the second leg, the Tunisians were able to overturn the deficit and won 2-0, to progress into the final round of the qualifiers.

MOROCCO 0-0 NIGERIA (2nd leg 1983, AFCON QUALIFIER)
After playing goalless at home in the first leg of the qualifiers for the 1984 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, the Eagles faced a herculean task in the return leg in Morocco.

But just like the first leg, the reverse fixture ended 0-0 and went into penalty shootout.

And at the end of the shootout, the Eagles eventually won 4-3 to qualify for the 1984 AFCON.

ALGERIA 2-1 NIGERIA (2nd Leg 1981, W/CUP QUALIFIER)
Algeria qualified for their first ever World Cup in 1982 at the expense of Nigeria, after both teams were drawn against each other in the final round of the qualifiers.

The first leg inside the National Stadium, Lagos ended 2-0 in favour of Algeria.
And in the second leg, Algeria finally picked the ticket after defeating the Eagles 2-1.

Ikeme “Gutted” To Miss Egypt Vs Nigeria Clash

By Adeboye Amosu
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, is disappointed he will not be part of Tuesday's crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Egypt, Comple tesportsnigeria.com can report.

The Wolves goalkeeper has been ruled out of the game billed for the Borg El- Arab Stadium, Alexandria due to ill-health.

Ikeme took to Twitter to express his disappointment on missing out of the crucial game.

"Thanks for the messages and gutted to miss the Egypt game. I was unwell early Friday morning and have been unable to eat since Thursday night," he wrote on his Twitter handle.

"Thanks to the doctor and the coaches for their care over the last few days. I will be going home to recover and support the team on Tuesday."

Chippa United's goalie, Daniel Akpeyi, is expected to take his place in the starting eleven against the North Africans.

Samson Siasia's men were held to a 1-1 draw by the Pharaohs in the first leg at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Friday.

Amuneke: Eagles Can’t Afford Silly Mistakes In Alexandria

By James Agberebi:
Emmanuel Amuneke has predicted a tough encounter between the Super Eagles and Egypt in Tuesday 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Alexandria.

The Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw by the Egyptians in Kaduna on Friday.
And they must secure the three points on Tuesday to stand a realisitc chance of qualifying for the 2017 AFCON.

Speaking with cafonline.com, Amuneke called on the Eagles players to avoid committing silly mistakes whuch cost them in the first leg.

"From experience, Egyptians are very passionate about football and I'm not surprised the game will be played in Alexandria in order to guarantee maximum support,” Amuneke, who played club football in Egypt for Zamalek, said.

“The game on Tuesday would be different from last Friday’s (in Kaduna) where we unfortunately conceded a late goal. It's going to be tougher.

“We would have to apply a lot of wisdom and cannot afford some of the mistakes we made in Kaduna. I wouldn't subscribe to the notion that we were tactically naive against Egypt in Kaduna because that was a match we would have won with some luck.

“In football, you don't talk about what should have been but we are going to Alexandria with optimism and we would use our strength positively.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has informed that the Super Eagles would not be lacking fans' support in Alexandria on Tuesday with arrangements in place to ferry the team, government officials as well as fans for the decisive encounter.

Alloy: Super Eagles Will Cope Without Ikeme

By Adeboye Amosu:
Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, insists the side will cope with the absence of first choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, in Tuesday'scrucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt, reports Comple tesportsnigeria.com.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers goalie is ruled out of the game billed for the Borg El- Arab Stadium in Alexandria due to ill- health.

Agu, a member of the Super Eagles squad that won the AFCON title in Tunisia in 1994, informed Comple tesportsnigeria.com that the duo of South Africa-based shot-stopper Daniel AKpeyi and Sunshine Stars' Ikechukwu Ezenwa are good enough to take the place of Ikeme in the game.

"We are disappointed that Ikeme will not be part of the game in Alexandria," Agu told Comple tesportsnigeria.com.

"He is a top class goalkeeper and a very reliable one too.
"But in Daniel and Ezenwa we have two quality goalkeepers who are good enough to step in against Egypt.

"We believe in them and there is no need to panic."

Adepoju Backs Super Eagles To Beat Egypt

By James Agberebi:
Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju is confident that the Super Eagles can get a win against Egypt in Alexandria on Tuesday.

The Eagles need an outright win against the Pharaohs to stand a chance of qualifying for next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

In the reverse leg which was played on Friday in Kaduna, a late Mohamed Salah goal earned Egypt a 1-1 draw.

Adepoju told Comple tesportsnigeria.com that the unpredictability of football could favour the Eagles.

"It is a very tight and difficult situation in which the Eagles find themselves. But I believe we can still scale through because in football anything can happen.

"I just hope the players have the belief to go there and play well," Adepoju told Comple tesportsnigeria.com.

The former Real Sociedad player, however, warned that the Eagles must maintain a high level of focus.

He also urged them to try and convert goal scoring opportunities that come their way.

Adepoju added: "Their concentration level has to be high because that one of their undoing on Friday.

"They should try everything possible to make sure every opportunity that they get are converted.

"In the first leg, they had chances which would have sealed the win unfortunately they could only score one. So in Tuesday's game, I expect them to try as much as possible to convert the chances that they get."

Amuzie: Eagles Unlucky In Kaduna, Will Beat Egypt In Alexandria

By Johnny Edward:
Olhanese of Portugal defender Stanley Amuzie is confident the Super Eagles can still qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations despite their 1-1 draw against Egypt in Kaduna last Friday.

The Eagles now have two points and Egypt four following Chad's withdrawal from the qualifying rounds and Samson Siasia's men must now beat the Pharoahs and Tanzania to seal a place in next year's African Nations Cup.

And Amuzie who is likely to keep his place in the team when they take on the group leaders in Tuesday's's crucial reverse fixture told Comple tesportsnigeria.com that all hopes are still not lost.

"We know what we need to do which is to win our remaining two games to qualify for the Nations Cup," Amuzie said.

"We were just unlucky not to have won but we will make amends."
Amuzie who made his debut in the encounter also shared his experience marking Mohammed Salah.

"What hurt me most is that didn't win not because Salah scored," he added. "Prior to the game there was much talk about him but he was relatively quiet until that moment he scored.

"We have to take our chances and I believe we won't disappoint."

The Super Eagles are expected to depart later Monday for Alexandra, Egypt for the reverse fixture of this tie.

Echiejile: Super Eagles Must Be Brave Vs Egypt

By Johnny Edward:
AS Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile has urged his teammates to show bravery when they take on Egypt in Alexandra in Tuesday’s reverse 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The 28-year-old defender, who could be deployed in central ‎defence to partner Godfrey Oboabona, told Comple tesportsnigeria.com the game is win or bust for the Eagles.

“We have to give ourselves a chance of making it to the Nations Cup in Gabon by winning at all costs in Egypt,” Echiejile told Comple tesportsnigeria.com before the team’s departure to Alexandra on Monday.

The Eagles are two points adrift Egypt and must beat their hosts who have four points from two games‎ to brighten their chances of making it to Gabon.

“We must challenge them in all duels and take our chances when they come because that’s the only way to get victory,” Echiejile added.

“The team cannot afford to miss another AFCON.”
On arrival in Alexandra, the Super Eagles will have a light walkout before having a feel of the turf for ‎Tuesday’s cracker.

Nigeria’s delegation to Tuesday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt has arrived in Alexandria, venue of the match.

The delegation flew aboard an ARIK Air aircraft and landed at the Borg El-Arab Airport, Alexandria at 6.35pm Egypt time on Monday (5.35pm Nigeria time).

The Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Chinyeaka Christian Ohaa, and NFF President Amaju Pinnick led the delegation that included 25 players and technical/backroom staff.

On arrival, Samson Siasia told thenff.com: “We know we have no choice but to win, so we will go all out. There is no alternative. All the players are aware of that fact and whoever gets to play tomorrow will fight very hard for the country.”

Captain Mikel Obi, who alongside Elderson Echiejile are the only surviving members from the 2009 squad that defeated Kenya in Nairobi in a must-win game to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, said: “We are in the same situation now as we were then going to Nairobi. I just have it in my mind that it can be done, that we have done it before.

“Yes, we will go out there on Tuesday night and do exactly what we have to do: fight. It is not going to be easy but I keep remembering what we did in Nairobi that evening and I know it can be done.”

The man who was head coach that evening in Nairobi, Shuaibu Amodu, is now the National Technical Director. He also spoke with thenff.com on arrival in Alexandria.

“I also remember Nairobi, and I have already discussed it with Mikel and he remembers very well and the spirit is there and he will pass it on to the other players.

“We just have to remember that it has been done before and that we can do it again. Of course, that was a FIFA World Cup qualifier and this one is an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. But the same principle can be applied and Nigeria will come out victorious.”

Following Chad’s withdrawal from the race, which has left only three teams in the Group G of the campaign and which nullified all results obtained against the Les Sao, only the group winner will qualify for 2017 Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Gabon.
Egypt currently top Group G with four points, with Nigeria second on two points and Tanzania on one point.

This team is too boastful. Play first & stop talking. Pride come before a fall. If they are so good, they won't need this much noise.

It's not being boastful. They're just being positive. What do you want them to say? "It'll be so tough, we may lose... Let's see how it goes"?

I wonder if Muhammed Ali was considered "boastful". It's all part of the psychology of the game.

Going to Kaduna in the first place was all about politics.

Since, the South south became the President of NFF, the choice of Coach and venue changed. He prefers to host the matches in the North instead of the south or Abuja were we have the best Stadiums. When the Northerner was president, he prefered to host the matches in the South and even the choice of coach was also different. Maybe it has to do with the region the President of the country comes from, i don't know but i know everybody wan please somebody and benefit dem people. All na politics.

If merit is considered in selection, this guy no suppose even play for U20 but how he made it to the National team and benched Echijiele is beyond me. How can you bring a player who had only seen 169 minutes of game time in his first season in Europe and from a second division league over a player playing regularly in one of the top 5 leagues in Europe? Abi na yam to play for Monaco? The next in line is Oshaniwa and Madu before we even think of..em wetin be em name again Amuzie. Sentiment is at play here and i no close eye.

I don talk am before... We don't need the service of local coaches again. I have seen that they have got nothing to offer than to sell market.

We need a good foreign coach to bring in sanity and merit into the team.

Amuzie played well. Watch the match again. His runs were good. He was calm and was a nuisance to Salah.

He only looked bad because he was up against one of the best wing attackers in the game today. Salah made Ramos and Marcelo look poor, that does not mean they are good players.

We were better than Egypt in that game. Was it not against a so called White Coach? Is Hector Cuper not a respected Coach in the game that led Valencia to play in two consecutive Champions League finals?

Is it not a local Coach that coached better? See how they celebrated their equalizer.

After Westerhoff and Bonfere, which of the foreign coaches coached better than Coach Siasia did against Egypt.

Keep your foreign coaches to yourself.

Amusie to me play better than Echiejile in dat LB position. His movement on the ball and passes were very good. And his technique aint bad either. Forget Club or division. Sometimes some of these things are down to luck & Agent connection. Just like i will forever prefer Musa muhammed to Ambrose on RB at anyday.
Look at Harry kane & Jamie Vardy for instance, it is the potential/talent/or form that matters not the club they came from.

E bi like say you know when we win the first Nations Cup. Was he a local coach? The second nko, na local coach? The first Olympics football gold nko, na local coach?

Bros, tell us you are not one of those protegees behind the choice of local coaches to sell market.

From where dem take score the goal? Why? No experience.

I repeat Amuzie doesn't deserve to be called to the National team and that's all.

When did Nigeria start using match killing tactics? I just feel the football gods don't want Nigeria playing like that. We are too good for that, Obaboana should get a good talking to, he should have never faked an injury, that is almost as dirty as not abiding fair play.
