Lies! There is no iota of veracity in these claims.

There's no single place in the Bible where the death of any of the original apostles was recorded except Judas who hanged himself. Any other claims outside the Supreme authority of the Bible are mere conjectures and utter fallacy.

Besides, how can God allow His first apostles to die such gruesome deaths? I refuse to believe these myths.

Are you a Christian?
If yes, are you a modern Thomas?

Be wise

The piece you're castigating is common knowledge among adherents.

You can appologise to God; then begin to build people's faith in God and His Son. Pls do no less!

The bible is a historical and factual document.

I don't think you know what those words actually mean; apart from the Book of Acts which is regarded as fairly reliable because a lot of the people, places and landmarks in it were real, the rest of the Bible, and especially the Old Testament is not very reliable historically. There is no external evidence anywhere that the exodus happened, for example.

The problem with trying to verify the historicity of any bible event is that many of the events in the bible took place, or are believed by some to have taken place, before written language. Other events were recorded but documentation has been destroyed in the various military and other campaigns since.

Before any of the ancient history could be written down, it had to be retold countless times. If you have ever played the telephone game you will know what that does to the account of events.

So while a subjective point, I would argue that the farther back you go, the less accurate it is.

Christ had female disciples, although, not among the 12 apostles and because of Jewish culture which allow only men to head things of God, the female played second fiddle. Some notable female disciple are Mary de magdalen, Mary the mother of Christ etc.

What of the other one that was almost fried in a cauldron of boiling oil grin

I understand why those guys did that... Imagine you catching a mosquito that wouldn't let you sleep all night grin

Those disciples were some real nuisance as they screamed throughout the streets, the same way most Christians are doing today.

I once went to a night class to complete a projection assignment we were given to be submitted the next day. I worked my asss out all night and was preparing to have a short sleep by around 4:30am in the morning. I barely closed my eyes when I heard a blast that almost set me on my heels... I calmed myself and began looking around for the source of that noise only to find out that it came from a megaphone from one these born again churches -THE CHOSEN!!!! I angry angry

Mehn I just swore under my breathe that if I had a machine gun, I would just walk up to those bastards and pump them with a billion bullets while screaming at the top of my voice angry angry

And this torment lasted for over 45mins in which I packed my bags and went home sad

The bible is not a historical document and we actually don't have very good or accurate sources on what happened to the 12 apostles after Jesus' death. Much of it is tradition as recorded second-hand in a few sources. So anything written here is simply telling you what is in the primary sources that we have, with not a huge deal of certainty

Hippolytus of Rome is one of those sources, along with Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History

Here is what is recorded:

James, brother of John, son of Zebedee: decapitated by Herod Agrippa (Acts 12:2, see also Hippolytus, and Eusebius EH 3.5

James, son of Alphaeus: stoned to death in Jerusalem (Hippolytus)

Andrew: preached to the Scythians and Thracians (in modern day Georgia and Bulgaria), was crucified on an olive tree at Patrae in Greece (Hippolytus)

Bartholomew (Nathanael): preached in India and was crucified upside down, buried in Allanum (southern Georgia) (acc to Hippolytus). Alternatively, Eusebius records that a certain Pantaenus from Alexandria had visited India and found Christians there with a Hebrew language version of the Gospel of Matthew given to them by Bartholomew.

Matthew/Levi: died at Hierees, Parthia (acc to Hippolytus). Possibly beheaded.

Simon Peter: Irenaeus puts Peter in Rome (Against Heresies 3.1). Eusebius says he was crucified under Nero. Hippolytus also records crucifixion, upside down, under Nero.

Philip: preached and crucified upside down in Phrygia, during the reign of Domitian (Hippolytus)

Simon the Zealot: died in Jerusalem at 120 years old (Hippolytus)

Thaddaeus/Judas son of James: preached to Edessa, through Mesopotamia, and died at Berytus (Hippolytus)

Thomas: preaches through the Parthian empire all the way to India, where he was killed by a pine spear (Hippolytus)

John, son of Zebedee: believed to have died of old age. Hippolytus records his exile to Patmos, and his death in the time of Trajan. Tertullian records a tradition that they attempted to boil him alive but to no avail.

These are men who risk their lives to follow Jesus, they never care what people will say or what becomes of their lives. What really happened to these men that they could follow so hard? Jesus gave conditions for men that will follow Him in Luke 9:23

King James Bible

And he said to them all, If any man will
come after me, let him deny himself, and
take up his cross daily, and follow me.

GOD'S WORD® Translation

He said to all of them, "Those who want to
come with me must say no to the things
they want, pick up their crosses every day,
and follow me.

Could you ask God why He allowed His only begotten Son to be crucified?

And why didn't Jesus command the host of angels to come down to His rescue?

If he can allow his own son to die a horrible death, then why can't he allow his disciples die the same way?

yeah archaeology has unveiled some certain things ,such a David, nivenah, king belhazer etc, many other stuffs but they are more still to come, other ancient sources like 100 hundred of them have a flood story with them, even Sodom and gomorah has discovered too, most secular people reject the bible though they don't like but if you go deep you will find out many stories in the bible that were once mock but later found true by,archeology, the existence of people called hitties in the old testament is an example, these matrydon of early Christians were also by non Christian historians like Josephus, phiny the young etc, many stuff like tgat

did you say how can jesus allow His first apostles die such gruesome death? There is no lie in what he has written, if you do not know the bible quotations then ask Google to assist you. If Jesus Son of the living God, who is without sin, died for you and I, why do you find it difficult to believe that the apostles of Christ were persecuted, killed because of their belief in Christ and His teachings.

Jesus’ death on the cross, as described in the New
Testament, has become one of the most famous
events. But what happened to the 12 disciples who
were his closest followers? Not as much information
has survived about their fates, but here is what’s
available from various sources, including the New
Testament itself, apocryphal texts, early Christian
historians, legends and lore.
1.• Simon, AKA Peter: Simon-Peter, who was appointed by Jesus the leader of the new sect, is viewed by Roman Catholics as the first pope, was eventually martyred in Rome during the reign of the emperor Nero.

As the story goes, Peter asked to be crucified upside
down, so that his death would not be the equal of
Jesus and the Romans supposedly obliged.

2. • Andrew: According to 15th Century religious historian
Dorman Newman, Andrew—the brother of Peter—went
to Patras in western Greece in 69 AD, where the Roman
proconsul Aegeates debated religion with him.
Aegeates tried to convince Andrew to forsake
Christianity, so that he would not have to torture and
execute him. But when that didn’t work, apparently he
decided to give Andrew the full treatment. Andrew was scourged, and then tied rather than nailed to a cross, so that he would suffer for a longer time before dying.
Andrew lived for two days, during which he preached to
passersby.

3. • James (son of Zebedee, AKA James the Greater):
Acts 12:1-19 says that James was killed with a sword. The newly-appointed governor of Judea, Herod Agrippa, decided to ingratiate himself with the Romans by persecuting leaders of the new sect. After James was arrested and led to place of execution, his unnamed accuser was moved by his courage. He not only repented and converted on the spot, but asked to be
executed alongside James. The Roman executioners obliged, and both men were beheaded simultaneously.

5.• John: John was the only one of the original disciplesnot to die a violent death.
Instead, he passed away peacefully in Patmos in his old age, sometime around 100 AD.

6.• Philip: Philip, the first of Jesus’ disciples, became a missionary in Asia. Eventually, he traveled to the Egyptian city of Heliopolis, where he was scourged, thrown into prison, and crucified in 54 AD.

7. • Bartholomew: Bartholomew supposedly preached in several countries, including India, where he translated the Gospel of Matthew for believers. In one account, “impatient idolaters” beat Bartholomew and then crucified him, while in another, he was skinned alive
and then beheaded.

8.• Thomas: Apparently Thomas preached the gospel in Greece and India, where he angered local religious authorities, who martyred him by running him through with a spear.

9. • Matthew: According to legend, the former tax
collector turned missionary was martyred in Ethiopia, where he was supposedly stabbed in the back by an swordsman sent by King Hertacus, after he criticized the king’s morals.

10. • James (son of Alphaeus, AKA James the Less):
According to Foxe, James, who was elected by his fellow believers to head the churches of Jerusalem, was one of the longest-lived apostles, perhaps exceeded only by John. At the age of 94, he was beaten and stoned by persecutors, and then killed him by hitting him in the head with a club.

11.• Thaddaeus, AKA Lebbaeus, Judas or Jude: According to several stories, he was crucified at Edessa (the name of cities in both Turkey and Greece) in 72 AD.

4. *Simon the Canaanite AKA the Zealot: Simon preached in Mauritania on the west coast of Africa, and then went to England, where he was crucified in 74 AD.

12. • Judas Iscariot: According to Matthew 27:3-6, the treacherous apostle quickly felt remorse over his betrayal of Jesus and went to the Temple to recant.
When the high priests ignored his plea, he threw downthe 30 pieces of silver that he had been paid, and went off and hanged himself. But Acts 1:15-20, gives a
different and even grislier version of Judas’ demise. He says that Judas used the blood money to purchase a
piece of land and then fell headlong from a high place there, so that “he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.” Jerusalem residents subsequently named the place Aceldama, which means “the field of blood.”
